Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore has hostels for boys on the campus premises. In the AVV Coimbatore boys hostels the P.G students and final year U.G students are allotted single rooms. The hostel rooms in the university are equipped with solar water heaters for hot water supply. Each hostel has a separate sports room.

AVV Coimbatore provides separate residential facilities to the girls. PG students and final-year UG students are assigned single rooms in the hostels. All AVV Coimbatore girls' hostels have solar water heaters for hot water supply. Each hostel has its own sports room.

AVV Coimbatore has a library equipped with a wide range of books, periodicals, online e-resources like e-journals, e-books, conference proceedings, e-databases and standards, project reports, back-volumes, CD/DVDs resources and daily newspapers. The digital library is centrally air-conditioned and can accommodate 170 users. Currently, 100 users can connect at the same time. In the digital section, the internet access facility is available. The VIDYA digital library houses a large collection of e-resources in a variety of disciplines, including e-books, course lectures, audio and video lectures, and department homepages, among other things. These resources are available to users via the intranet.

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore campus has facilities for outdoor and indoor games like hockey, shuttle badminton, ball badminton, cricket, football, table tennis, weight lifting, powerlifting, basketball, kabaddi, tennis, handball, throw-ball, volleyball, and tennikoit. A modern synthetic tennis court and a cement tennis court are also available on the campus.

AVV Coimbatore has an Information and Communication Technology Services (ICTS) Department that is responsible for identifying, providing and maintaining reliable computing facilities, computing network environment and communication facilities. The department is in charge of all computer laboratories on campus. The laboratories provide all of the facilities needed by students to complete their academic requirements.

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore provides three gyms inside the campus equipped with upride bicycles, motorised treadmills, elliptical cross trainers, 6 in-1 multi-gym, 12 in multi-gym and 8 station multi-gym.

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore has a swimming pool of the size 50 X 25 metres. The swimming pool contains 2.4 million litres of water. A toddler pool is available for students and professionals to warm up. The swimming pool has been constructed as per the international standard and the pool was used during the CBSE South Zone competitions.

AVV Coimbatore has a guest house facility that includes 20 AC rooms, 4 AC suites, 20 non-AC rooms, a conference hall and a dining hall. The guest house serves as the preferred venue for a variety of events such as board meetings, conferences, seminars, and press conferences. It provides comfortable accommodations for parents, visiting professors, company executives, administrators, and others.

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore campus has a branch of Dhanlaxmi Bank along with an ATM facility for the benefit of staff and students.

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore has an ‘Amrita Dispensary’ that works inside the campus round the clock providing medical service to the students, staff and villagers. There are three doctors and eight nurses on duty. The dispensary has ten in-patient beds. The health care unit provides basic medical care, a pharmacy with adequate medicines, and facilities such as an ECG machine, nebuliser, oxygen cylinders, defibrillator, ECG monitor, pulse oximeter and first aid. Cases requiring immediate hospitalisation and special medical attention are referred to well-known hospitals in the area. Two ambulances are readily available in the clinic for emergency cases.

AVV Coimbatore has three canteens that are functioning inside the campus. Pure vegetarian food prepared under hygienic conditions is served in the student dining halls and canteens from a central kitchen.
