Infrastructure - The infrastructure of the college is good but not the best. It is one of the oldest departments and funding department. The labs are better, but it would be the lenient department in the college. New labs are being under construction.

Apart from GATE, Anna University intakes student through TANCET examination.The TANCET exam will be held on 19th and 20th May.Post publications of TANCET results, a common list of all the students will be declared based on GATE and TANCET scores.Post that the admission process will start.
