Yes you can the avail the scholarship provided by AICTE provided you are GATE qualified. All the GATE qualified students get monthly stipend of 12400/- for the period of 2 years. You can join the college through TANCET but it is compulsory that you need to be GATE qualified.

Last year the cutoffs required in TANCET to get the M.E(MECHANICAL) seat in ANNA UNIVERSITY (CEG) for B.C category was 36.00 .Slight variations can be noticed this year.

You can apply but there is a separate admission procedure for students from states other than Chennai. You can find an opening in the newspaper or check Anna University website www.annauniv.edu, you can find admission notices in March/April for the year.

For Hindustan University the fee structure is as : 

First year : 2,24,500₹

Secondyear : 1,98,000₹

Third year : 1,98,000₹

Fourth year : 1,98,000₹

And for Anna University, this course is not available sorry.

No, the JEE MAINS score won't be considered for admission in Anna University. Clearing the minimum cut-off in Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission (TNEA) exam. The application's for the admission's will be open by May 1st 2019
