So talking about the infrastructure it is good ,if I talk about the South block I think it's the best. You might not find AC all round the classes but they do are available in labs. The newly build library in one of the best libraries I have visited till now.
You will find better opportunities to enroll in like multiple hackathons and even multiple academic events. Overall some teachers are even good with their knowledge but some you might not find that good. The main thing is there are a number of opportunities for you outside the class that you can easily enroll in and get productive information and knowledge.
Placements sector is not at all good. After admissions you might find the fake placements they promise about and placements marketing strategies they are using to grab students in the university . Maximum of the placements are on a package of 3-4 LPA.
It's value for money only if you get a scholarship based admission.
The campus life is overall good for the students.
Do your best to grab the scholarship admission otherwise don't go for the actual fees admissions as it's not the worth
It is one of the top and the beast college with having a better infrastructure I have ever seen and the one most thing I love that college management is very well . My classes are very good and having a fans , projector .
The college academic is perfect because we have got the excellent staff professor and due to their guidance and support we are growing time to time and the teacher we have got are very helpful to its student .
Overall placement is good . Please mint are organise and taken in a exam based or overall student card . The top router this year was cognizant , Mahindra tech , Infosys and with having a highest package was 9 LP till now .
My college have all the necessary infrastructure and equipment. Classrooms are big in every classroom there is a projector for study. Good library, sports centre for sports activities. Hostel facility also available in the campus and all facilities are well maintained. Living spaces are clean and food hygiene.
I'm studying MBA in the college and quality of teaching is excellent teachers do focus on every students equally. And also my curriculum is updated and included all the recent developments in the MBA. Yes my study make me job-ready.
Superior quality of placement in the college. Placement rate of the college is above 70 percentage Highest package for the MBA is 12LPA and the average package is 6.5 LPA. The process of placement is kind of easy college is supportive for every difficulty.
Totally value for money.
Campus of our college is well maintained campus, full of greenery, trees, pants and thay provided space for sitting also.
Chandigarh University is a very good university in terms of infrastructure and is famous all over India.Every type of facility is available inside this university and smart boards are installed in every class which remain updated. Here high speed internet connection is also provided to the students with personal ID password.
The university is also very good in academics and the teachers of the university are very professional. Sometimes professors behave a little rudely with the students. Here, different training is given for each person for placement, which I personally like very much.
90% students get placed every year in Chandigarh University. Here the highest package is above 20 lakhs and the average package is 4 lakhs per annum. The placement process is very easy and many big companies have come here for campus placement like Reliance, Tata motors etc.
The per year fee of our course is Rs 1.3 lakh.Hostel fee is 1 lakh per year. The campus is very big and the studies are also very good, I feel that taking admission here was right for me.I also got placement from here.
Every month some event takes place in its campus and free passes are available for the students in those events. There are many canteens in the campus providing different types of food. This university is located in Mohali, Punjab.
Overall I liked the university very much
Let's go to the infrastructure of Chandigarh University. Sports facilities like indoor stadium, cricket ground, football ground, swimming pool are provided here. Classrooms are well maintained, Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus and cleanliness is very high in the entire campus.
I have studied B.Sc. from this university. In terms of education, Chandigarh University is a little behind because very few classes are held here and a lot of events are held.Although the quality of teaching here is good, but due to low frequency of classes, students face problems at exam time.
Every year 70% students get placement from Chandigarh University and 20% students go for off campus placement. Total 90% of students get placed every year. Here the highest package is Rs 12 lakhs and the lowest package is Rs 2 lakh.
My fees here are ₹ 400000 and in comparison to the fees, the facilities are very good and the campus life is also good here due to which the fees are reasonable. We are also taken for industrial visits and for this they charge very less amount. Mostly services are included under the fees.
The college campus is big but there is always construction work going on here. The hostels here are very big but there is a big problem in the hostels that all the hostels have common washroom. Here, events keep happening from time to time. When you go to the admin building at the time of admission, the staff there will not treat you well. The rest of the staff like guards will talk to you very nicely.
The University is good in some factors and bad in some factors, this is my experience.
The infrastructure of Chandigarh University is very good. The University has more than 20 blocks for each department. The campus is big and clean. The college provides all the necessary equipments, facilities and infrastructure for the students.
I am pursuing my bachelors in computer science from this university as it one of the best private Universities. The quality of teaching in my university is very good all the teachers are well experience. The faculty members are highly qualified and try to provide each and every student their support.
The placement rate of Chandigarh University is one of the highest in the whole country. The university brings in various big companies to the university for placement drives which helps the events to get selected in these companies and get good package.
I felt that the infrastructure of my college was far better than most of the other college I have seen in my home town and when I was in college there were new blocks which were built and they were top notch when it came to the architecture and design of the buildings.
All the faculty throughout my 4 years of college were extremely talented and they taught us really well and not just from a theoretical perspective but even from a practical perspective too. There were new sections which were introduced in the final year for advanced learning and training.
All of people from my batch have secured a placement in big MNCs and 100% placement of CU isn't just a publicity stunt but it is actually real and not just the amount of placements but the type of companies which come for placements are really good.
I was offered 100% scholarship based on my JEE Advanced marks so I was only paying for my hostel fee so it's completely value for money and even if not for a scholarship the semester costs are pretty less in comparison to other colleges.
The campus is located a little away from the city which makes it difficult to reach it either from the airport or from the railway station and there weren't many shops or eateries within the campus in the initial days but later it was very well developed.
The infrastructure of the college is amazing . They provide digital classrooms and everything thing is upto the mark . The amazing thing is that they are sill investing to upgrade the infrastructure of the college .
The academics of the college are very great . All the faculty members are very supportive and helpful . They provide lots of courses so you can choose according to your own interests and preferences .
The placement of the college is very poor . They offer limited job opportunities and the students struggle to get placed even at the end of the semester. They show 100% placements but the placement rate is not even 50%.
Except for placement the college is giving great value of money . If you just want knowledge and environment but no placement you can invest your money in it .
Campus life is amazing . It is same as we see on Netflix and movies . They organise lots of fest and events. It is fun
The college give good exposure to our potential. There are lot of clubs like music , dance, cultural, modelling and many more. You will learn a lot . Even you will get a chance to get the real life experiences .
One thing I really like about Chandigarh university is its large and green campus . The garden and tree beautifully provide a calm atmosphere . I like when my classroom welcome plenty of natural light . There are some good view of the surrounding greenery. There are many hostel at the university, but I don't stay there . My friend live there and they mention that it has good infrastructure.
One thing I really appreciate about customer is the practical approach of teaching things to students.it is not only about theory;we gain practical experience, which is amazing Teacher at Chandigarh university are extremely knowledgeable. Many of the professor hold PH.D degree and bring a wealth of experience from the business world . This is the best thing that I have gained from Chandigarh University because through them , I have acquired real-world business knowledge which has become a form of practical learning.
When attending DCPD , I made sure to study regularly, improve my skills, and concentrate on my placement process.Currently I am able to secure a great placement in Accenture with an annual package of Package of 7 lakhs which as per me ,is good package to start.
I think it is value of money Because my college gives me scholarship for 4 years so it's helpful for me .They also have a collaboration with different for providing study loan . In my perspective it definitely value for money college
Learning about the culture and customer of various states in India and different countries around the world is fascinating in Chandigarh university.
considering the fee structure which i have paid in the university ,it offers up to marks infrastructure . find that the classrooms are clean and functional and projectors are also there at class which is like a boon for CSE classes . The hostels are clean and provide basic facilities, but the food quality in term of variation can be average at times.
The quality of teaching in CSE is satisfactory the curriculum is thorough and ensures we stay current with industry trends. All of my professors are very helpful and understanding when I was working on a project . some students and professors provided me with a great deal of assistance I recall a teacher from my third semester who encouraged me to participate in group discussion , which i did and it truly became a turning point of my life.
The Quality of placement in my university has been very good. I credit Chandigarh University CSE Department , and DCPD for my success in Placement Thanks to them I was able to secure a great placement at Asian paints salary of 9LPA
Chandigarh university is absolutely value of money as its fees structure is very minimum compared to other colleges and hostels are also available at very reasonable price. and there are many cafes and shops in the campus where food and drinks are very cheap too
Discussing campus life, there are numerous food courts on the campus where my friends and i enjoy meals. coffee and spend quality of time together we hang out on campus during breaks living on campus , my roommate and i enjoy taking morning and evening walks around the campus this feeling is truly the best .
Greetings!
Hello Tushar! If you're doing a bachelor's degree through distance learning (ODL) at Chandigarh University, you can still be eligible to study abroad. Many universities abroad accept students with distance education qualifications. However, it's crucial to check the specific admission requirements of the universities and countries you are interested in. Some institutions may have certain criteria or additional steps for applicants with distance learning degrees. Ensure your program is recognized and accredited, and consider taking any required standardized tests like IELTS or TOEFL for language proficiency. Additionally, focus on maintaining a strong academic record and highlighting your skills and achievements when applying. Researching and adhering to the admission guidelines of the universities you're interested in will help you plan for a successful study abroad journey.
Hello aspirant,
Hope you are doing great.
As per your question, basically if you see from the three consecutive years, almost 12 lakh students will apply for the CUET exam, and out of which at least 5 to 7 lakh might apply for the BA LLB admissions. However, remember that this will vary from one year to the another.
Hope this helps!

Sports And On-Campus Activities -
If you are good in sports and other extra - curricular activities, then look into the sports programs and events organized at colleges you are considering.
