Infrastructure is good as there are all the necessary facilities available with good looking buildings. The classrooms are clean and hygienic with all the necessary equipments and hostels are also good with good food.
Academics are good as there are kind and cooperative teachers and the curriculum and all the necessary information is made being available on the official website so we don't have to look anywhere else. The quality of teaching is good.
The placements are very good regarding the number of students here as 80-85% students gets placed . More than 850 companies visit the campus ranging in the packages going upto 55lakhs to further 1.7cr
Placements are very good in this college as 80-85% students gets placed which is very good considering the number of students here. Approx 800+ companies visit the campus and highest packages goes upto 55 lakhs to 1.7cr
Talking honestly, the campus infrastructure is okayish-type. Like for the 1st year students who are from engineering domain will feel bit sad about the infrastructure as it is lil bit outdated and lab PC's are not up to date but the good thing is they are updating them with latest tech. Rest you can explore the greenery of fountain park, it is an absolute eye-catcher!
To be honest, you are responsible for your own academics. Like every other college, you need to focus on the syllabus on your own. The pace at which the syllabus would cover you hardly understand anything. But I would to acknowledge that regardless of this, the teachers are super-friendly and helpful in our academics. The student-teacher culture in our university is worth mentioning.
Being a fresher I'm hardly aware of our placements but as I got to know about the placements it depends solely on you. How much efforts and how many skills you are acquiring to boost your resume. But for data purpose, Highest pkg. 1.7 Cr and highest domestic pkg. 54.2 LPA. Since there's a lot of crowd in CSE Dept. so most of the students ended up getting placed at mass recruiters like TCS, HCL and infosys etc.
They are improving their infrastructure. Overall infrastructure is good. But there is no wifi in campus. Library is good. In library there is wifi. Buildings are very far from each other. Student waste their time in travelling form one block to another.
Student need to do their self-study. Teacher will only complete their syllabus in time. Students do not get sufficient time to to prepare for their final exams due to MST and Assignments. The attendance criteria is very bad as it requires 75% attendance.
Quality of placement is average. Students needs to do hard work to grab placement. Collage will do nothing in it. MBA placement is not up to the mark. Students need to include their skills. University hipe there placement drives but the package are average.
Value is ok ok but pricing is overhiped. They increase their fees every year for new admidded students. They try to remove your scholarship so they can have full payments of the fees. The criteria of 7.5 cgpa is not good.
Campus fife is very bad. Students don't get enough time to explore the campus as there are daily classes. The blocks are very far from each other. The sports campus is very far from main campus. The college does not provide leaves for other activities
Don't choose cse as there are much croud. You can choose any other branch like hotel management, MBA business studies and so on. But pricing will be over. There are more then 20k in cse in this college. So placement will be very difficult or less.
Infrastructure os this college is good ?. Roads inside the college is also good. There are approximately more then 2 fountains in the college. There is canteen also inside the college. Blocks are also neat and clean.
I am very disappointed ? of accademic of this college. Teachers are the passed out students of this college. They don't know how to teach the students. They only know how to complete the syllabus in time . It they can't complete in time they will take extra classes.
Placement ha ha ha ? Not at all. If you want to enjoy college life you can take admission in it . But if you want to build carrier from it then you are in wrong path. No much companies come to this college. Waste of money.
Besides infrastructure this college is worst in every thing. MBA costs approx more then 2 lack per year but also there is not any studies in it or any kind of management. No one will listen to your problem. If you want to waste money then you can take admission in this college.
Campus life is quite interesting in this college because they held many events daily in the college. They also provide very type of club like dance club sports club etc..It has also a big basketball court and football court .
Overall i don't like to recommend this college because it is not worth the money. If you are interesting in college life and other activities, the college is good but if you want to take admission here for just study ,it would be the worst decision of your life.
Good, but not up to the mark campus is quite clean and greenery are there. Broad roads are provided for the students. There are cafes inside the college but the foods are little bit costly. Building are well maintained.
I am studying here for MBA. In early days, i quite interested in this course but when i came to this college, the professor force me to hate this course by their teaching behaviour. Now ,i am not interested in my course.
I am saying honestly that placement of chandigarh University is just a scam because a few companies visit Chandigarh University for the placement and they give it to only few students, like in 1500 they give it to only 5 students.
The infrastructure and the college life is good. But the academic life is not so good because of the professor they provided and the other staff members of Chandigarh University. They don't have proper knowledge of the subject and what they know they taught the others.
Campus life of Chandigarh University is so good. The hostels, the buildings, parks are very interesting place to visit. We really enjoy our campus life to our friends and the classmates. Many events and function are happened time to time in Chandigarh University.
Overall it not a good college for some courses like MBA but i think it is good for some other courses. The infrastructure and the people here are good but the professor and the management is very bad .
There is a good infrastructure. There are separate building for different departments. There are many facilities provided related to labs, libraries, hostels and sports centres. Even hostels bulidings are well structure having lifts facilities also.
The quality of teaching is very good. We learn from the various knowledgeable faculty like from associate and assistant professor. There teaching style is good. Lecture give with the help of projector to get the visual picture.
There are many placement facilities. Many companies come to recruit us. There are proper training program to guide us or to prepare us for the job interviews. There are many programs for international exposure also.
infrastructure is veryy good. classes are spacious. hostel facilities are very good. there is wifi facilities and also smart board facilities are there. regular and proper cleaning is done. lift facilities are there.
academics are good . teachers are very cooperative and helpful. every teacher is expert in his or her particular subject. proper tests, assignments are given. regular exams are there for better performance of students in finals.
placments are good here. not 100% bt 75% students are placed. also it has one plus one facility where the students can apply for abroad studies. placment packages are very good and students are satisfied.
The infrastructure of Chandigarh University is very good , and very ventilated . The campus is of around 200 acres and it is big enough to enjoy your campus life. Some class rooms are A.C ventilated and some just have windows.
The academics here in Chandigarh University, the teachers are very good especially in MBA department . They focus on the practical learning and Case study based learning method is adopted. also the faculties are also PHD in their respective fields
Placements i will say it is good because the companies are visiting chandigarh university every year and hiring on huge bases. although the student himself responsible for the placement drives or being placed or not but the company do visit and hire the candidates on good salaries .
Infrastructure of Chandigarh university is good as compare to another college . That college provide different - different facilities like neet and clean classroom and washroom , wifi , libraries , spot center and good hostel etc
I completed my MBA from chandigarh university . Teaching quality is good of this college because all the the teacher is well educated and they provide all the training related to all subject and provide the lab also
As we all knows that placement of my college is good . 90% student are placed from my college . And the higher package is upto 20 LPA and avarage is Upto 4 lpa . They provide easy process for placement
The infrastructure is very good and all the necessary facilities and equipments are there. The classrooms are clean and hygienic with proper smartboards and projectors installed in them. The hostels are also good .
Academics are good as the teachers are cooperative. The curriculum is also regularly updated with latest developments and all the necessary information is made available on the university's official website
Placements are good regarding the number of students studying here. The average placement rate is 80-90% with average packages of 5-6 lakhs which goes upto 10-12 lakhs which can further go upto 1crore
Hii,
In certain cases, Chandigarh University admits B.Tech students directly without requiring an entrance exam. Your grades in the 12th grade, particularly in math, physics, and chemistry, as well as other factors like your JEE score or management quota, will determine this.
However, since admissions policies can change annually, it is best to check their official website or get in touch with the university to find out the precise requirements for the year you wish to enroll.

Hello,
No , you generally cannot apply as a reserved category (SC) candidate in West Bengal state colleges, including Calcutta University, using an SC certificate issued by another state.
Your SC certificate from another state is valid for claiming reservation in central government jobs and admission to central educational institutions (like IITs, NITs, IIMs, or other Central Universities) anywhere in India.
In simple terms, your certificate makes you eligible for reservation at a central institution like IIM Calcutta, but not at a state institution like Calcutta University.
I hope you found this helpful.
Hello,
Yes, you are eligible for CUET . In CUET eligibility, only your Class 12 marks are considered, not Class 10.
Since you have passed Class 12 with Commerce, you can apply for CUET and take admission in good universities like DU, Chandigarh University, etc., if you meet their subject and percentage requirements.
Hope it helps !
