College is having excellent lab and workshop facilities. There are many department comes under university. All are having good infrastructure. Canteen is remains clean but you will et only south india foods. There is projector and smart board in many classroom but not in each classroom. I will point the college to make some more hostels, because many people lives outside of the hostel.
I have taken admission in electrical and electronics department because my cousin was also studying here. Now I'm studying here and I can told you that of this branch are well educated and experienced in their field. College is government and curriculum does not change very easily. Education you will get what you are finding for.
Placements are average here. If you are talented then company will hire you it doesn't matter what is your branch.almost 50% from other branches and 90% from cs and it get placement.average salary is 3 lakh per annum. College placement support will depend on your placement coordinator how active he is.
College's fee is decided by the category through which he has taken the admission. I used to pay 90,000/- per year for academic only hostel charge excluded.
This is the only thing which is better than others. There is many curriculum you can do besides the academic life. You will find many types of events almost everyday. Last sunburn dhishna, tech fest makes it more enjoyable.
Cochin University of science and technology is one of the best engineering college in india. Here all the best facilities, equipments are provided to the students. Library, high speed internet Wifi, lab classes with all facilities are provided here.
In this college I'm studying computer science and engineering. Here all the teachers are well qualified and having very good knowledge and with very long experience about their subjects. And so i liked it most.
Quality of placements is very good for this college. Here all the best companies for example tcs, Infosys, wipro and so many companies come for the placement with a very good package. Average package of the placement is 6-8lakh per anum. And so it's one of the best college.
Good infrastructure every branch have their own separate building.every building is in good shape and condition.every Room in the building are are easily reachable.every Room are good in terms of capacity, lighting and fresh air.
Good faculty members and their teaching style is also unique.they are helpful, kind and generous.every faculties have enough qualifications and also they have a great teaching experience.so they are very appreciatiable.
Good placements in ECE,CS and IT branch others have a little low placement ratio.every year many companies come with a good salary package.but their demands vary year by year so therefore the ratio of placement also varies.
Good value for money you are getting a good teaching facility from a good university
There are several things you can enjoy in campus also in the city
in this college, good infrastructure ,good environment.....smart borad facility. that really hepls to understand concept better....... near to college good food facility...both south and north indian food.....
i m studing engineering branch.......here carriculum is very good....faculty are very helpful..... here placement of software company is good .....but core company very less.........cs ,it,ec branch have placement.. but very few for core branch.
here placement are very good for software branch...90 percentage of software branch student get placement every year... the range of general package is 3 to 4 lack per annum... maximum package is 30 lack software branch
here course carriculum is verygood ,,,per semester fee approx 40 thousand,,,here we get good return of money....
collage campus is very awesome...good sound of bird in evening that makes very awesome day,,,,.. campus is very safe in term of all thing....
Good but some departments are in bad shape.Electrical department building is in bad condition. But mechanical, civil,it and cse buildings are good.most of the buildings are not in good shape instead of thosewhich are newly constructed.
Faculties are good but most of them are temporary and it is needed to add some permanent faculties and reservation for faculties are there it is bad eduthe basis of state quota educational educational.
Good for cse,it and ece but overall placement is not good.Mostly it companies comes for recruitment and if don't have backlog you will get placed but package is not satisfactory.Average package is around 3.5 lakh.
College is cheaper fees wise and value for money
Good because it is in main city and all necessary things are within range
It is is kerala so you will enjoy your college life very well
The college has a good infrastructure. Projectors and smart boards are used for teaching. Labs facilities are also upto mark . All facilities have a very good knowledge and very well experienced in their field.
The curriculum is well updated and the syllabus is very beautifully designed in order to do good in placements as well as to ace in any government exams like gate. Yes it is updated according to industry demand.
College reserves high percentage of placements every year. The highest package bagged was Rs 29 lakhs. The placements for non core companies are very good. For core companies the placements are mediocre.
Fees are distributed among three categories NRI, All India merit and state merit. For NRI fees is almost 60,000 per semester. For India merit it is 45,000 and for state merit it is 24,000 for each semester.
College has its own University library, playground and canteen. It is also located in metro city. Hostel facilities are also provided. There is a good study atmosphere in the campus. Mess facilities are also good.
Judging by the looks and atmosphere of the campus, you might find interesting, the facilities we have here. There's a lab for each department, depending on the courses. There is a separate football ground, volleyball court, basketball court, indoor sports centre under construction, indoor badminton courts, a gym, a boxing arena, you name it, we have it. The hosteler life in cusat is something you have to master. It is THE most experience of hostel life. You have all liberty, great food and more
I am studying Bvoc in Business process and data analytics. This course is one of kind, unique and currently only course in India that gives a degree in data analytics. My batch is the first batch of this course, as it being a very recent course, the syllabus is updated as it can be. Data analytics is the most hyped carriers of the future. We have hands on experience with all the leading softwares and tools in the field. And yes this course makes us job-ready, in a field of great opportunities
As I have mentioned, my batch is basically the first batch of this course and our placement processes doesn't start until next semester. But our department also provides MVoc courses and the placement results there is very hopeful for us too. Keeping in mind, when we graduate we essentially pack skills unmatched by majority in our league. We have already been in contact with many of the reputed companies in the fields, and the 'central placement cell of cusat' will be of help.
The annual fees for the course is approximately 45000, if only less, for the general category. Which could drop significantly in the near future (could come under state govt funding). And yes, I do believe the value for the money is worth it.
The campus life is BEYOND outstanding. It takes time, that is in arguable, but once you get the hang of it, you will have memories for a lifetime.
There are many important things, which I was unable to mention, due to word limit, so I insist on asking a personal opinion, from anyone who knows
Hello aspirant,
Hope you are doing great.
So as per your question, if you wish to get CSE group through CUSAT exam in the universities, then you need to secure a rank between 610 to 3160. However, remember that cutoffs vary from one year to another. Even if you manage to get below 610, will also work out, and you will be able to succeed.
Hope this helps!!
Hello aspirant,
Despite heavy competition, there might be a chance for you to get into CUSAT even for prospective courses like CE and ME, provided your category. Cut offs for OC candidates usually closes within 1000. However, this is just a prediction. There are many colleges which accept higher ranks too. You can have something better too. Cut offs depend on many factors like No. Of Applicants, no. of seats, difficulty level, previous cut offs and so on.
Hope this was useful. Just keep an eye to the gradual counseling process.
