This course will help the candidates in understanding how consumers purchase, select, use, and dispose of products and services, for any marketer knowing this is necessary for managing the marketing function in a successful manner. The course Behaviour and Analysis Buyer is developed by Curtin University and is an instructor-led course. The contents covered under this course are consumer behaviour, market segmentation, e-commerce buying behaviour, online technologies in modern marketing, consumer decision making, product positioning, consumer perception process, sensory marketing, motivational drivers influencing behaviour, Persuasion techniques, Gender stereotypes, Ideals of beauty, cultural and social environments affect on behaviour.
The candidates will learn the decision-making processes under consumption behaviour in various buying situations while will help the candidates to develop their ability to use marketing processes at an advanced level. Candidates will have to complete MKT1x and MKT2x before applying for this course.
