Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering with Specialization in Automotive Engineering is a four years full-time undergraduate Engineering course and it is offered by Delhi Technological University, Delhi and approved by AICTE.

Eligibility Criteria

A candidate must have Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.

B.Tech Lateral Entry: Three-year regular diploma in any branch of engineering awarded by any state board of technical education/diploma recognized by AICTE, Delhi.

Admission Details

Admission to B.Tech Program is made through Joint Admission Counselling (JAC) on the basis of the rank obtained in Joint Entrance Examination (JEE-Main) conducted by the NTA.

College Infrastructure

It has one of the best engineering college campuses in India. The campus is spread over 160 acres. There are proper grounds and courts for different sports. Classroom and labs are quite large and equipped with air-conditioners. The canteen facilities are not that good, but the food items served to the students are quite affordable and tasty.

DTU IS ONE OF THE BRST ENGINEERING UNIVERSITY.
