I have checked the cutoff for M.Sc maths at deen dayal Upadhyay, Gorakhpur University. As per its notice released on 3/09/2022 the cutoff for maths M.Sc. entrance exam for general category was upto merit number 86, 58 for OBC and sc , 74 for EWS, 76 for st category.

Based on previous year cut-off trends of DDU University , a general category rank of around 697 has a low chance in the first round but may get a seat in the second round if seats remain vacant.

It mainly depends on the branch you choose and the number of higher-rank candidates who do not take admission.

You should participate in the next round, as there is still some possibility.

Your admission at DDU Nadiad with 283 category rank is possible but can not be surely confirmed without knowing your specific category and which exam entrance exam you have given GUJCET or DDU entrance exam.

If we read the previous year insights then for DDU then for EWS category the closing rank was somewhere around 479. So, your admission is possible but can not be confirmed due to incomplete details. Feel free to ask further.

A total of 96 marks, general rank of 277 and OBC rank of 124, There is a chance that you have missed the cut-off by the narrowest of margins in the first counseling round because this is a popular course, and seats are difficult to get.

Deen Dayal Upadhyaya University (DDU) Gorakhpur has not yet released the cutoff marks for M.Sc. Zoology admission for the year 2025. The university is expected to release the cutoff list by the last week of July 2025.

To apply for M.Sc. Zoology, students from the general category must have at least 55 percent marks in their B.Sc. degree. This is the minimum eligibility needed.
