I got 83% in both 10th & 12th. I am currently doing BBA from Jamia Millia Islamia, Delhi. How can I get into IIM ABC with this score?

Hi aspirant,

IIM A/B/C are the topmost B Schools in India and evidently getting into them are difficult.

Your 10th and 12th scores are decent and shouldn't hamper your admission process. They (IIM ABC) do require your graduation percentage as well and try to maintain a percentage of at least 80.(the more the better).

The next hurdle will be the CAT exam and this is the most crucial. Considering you belong to General, Male and a Non-Engineer cutoff for IIM ABC will roughly be around 98.4 - 99.2 percentile (with 80% in graduation).

Hope it was helpful. All the best.

a cantilever ABC is forced at A and proped at C is loaded as shown in figure.find the reactions

Hello candidate,

Any polio any liver has two points of of reaction one is the point where the force is applied and the second part is where the effort is put on.

In order to specify out the exact points of reactions on the the cantilever you need to provide with the specific diagram so that we can draw free body diagram and point out the acting forces.

Feel free to ask other queries!!

Sir I scored 79% in 10th state board & 81% in 12th. 86% in B.com. I am fresher and i belong to sc category can i get Admission in. IIM ABC. Is my profile is very poor for IIM ABC as A SC category. Student. If i score 90+ percentile in CAT what is the probability that i can get Admission in IIM BLACK

Hello Aspirant ,

Yes , you can definitely get admission into IIM ABC if you work hard and achieve a good percentile in CAT. Work experience is given a lot of preference in IIM B , yet there are mnay freshers who get in IIM ABC yearly. Your graduation score is excellent , and 10th , 12th scores are good enough to get good points for past academics. Also as you are an SC candidate , you will get reservation and the cutoffs will be much lower than General students. Your profile isn't poor at all for IIM ABC.

If you do score 90+ percentile in CAT , you have atleast 85-90% that you'll make it into IIM BLACK and atleast get calls from most of the institutes , depending on your GD-PI , you'll know if you can convert.

Hope this helps you! Good luck!

what we have to do first ncert or modern ABC for jee preparation?

Hi,

It will be suggested for you to go for the NCERT of both class 11 and 12 before moving on to any of the reference book for JEE preparation. NCERT will help in clearing your basics and making your conceptual knowledge strong. First, be thorough with the NCERT and then move on to any of the good reference books of your choice. Do practice daily and attempt as many mock tests along with reading. It will help in getting more familiar with the exam pattern and will boost confidence.

Sir I scored 79% in 10th state board & 81% in 12th. 86% in B.com. I am fresher and i belong to sc category can i get Admission in. IIM ABC and What is the safe seat criteria to get admission IIM ABCLKI FMS IIFT

In general, all IIMs use a two-phase decision-making procedure. The CAT score is a deciding factor in the first phase. The WAT (Written Admission Test) and PI (Personal Interview) stages are completed by the shortlisted candidates from the first phase.

For confirmations, the vast majority of IIMs place the greatest emphasis on the personal interview and the CAT result. Academic cut-offs, previous academic success, appropriate professional experience, gender diversity, and other notable criteria can all influence the ultimate decision.

Each IIM has its unique admission standards, and there has been little change in the CAT cutoff or determination technique and criteria compared to the previous year.

The minimum percentile required for IIM A is 70 percentile for SC category.

Hope this helps

Using method of integration find the area of the triangle ABC, co-ordinates of whose vertices are A(1, 2), B(3, 5) and C(5, 2).

Hi Aspirant,

First find the line equation using the point given and then do find integration of the line for both the left and right side.Add the integration value in order to get the total area under the line.Use definite integration with proper limits to get a accurate answers.

I have done my BA (GENERAL) last year.If I clear CAT exam then can I get chance in IIM (ABC) or any other MBA colleges?

Dear Student,

Yes you can get the admission if you followed all the criteria. You need to score 50% in your Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent ( General Category) or equivalent CGPA. For other reservation categories it is 45%. Final year under graduate students are also eligible for giving this examination. This is a computer based examination. The duration of this examination is 2 hours. It happens once in a year ( November/ December). You should have knowledge in these skills for giving this examination: Quantitative Aptitude, Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension.

Thankyou

my Feb percentile is 89.89 and my March percentile is 88.64 I am from abc - ncl ( girl)...please tell which nit can I get..

Hi,

As you must be aware, your best percentile is considered for the final rank. On the basis of your percentiles for February and March  session, you have a better percentile for February session that is 89.89 according to this your expected common rank list rank will be around 103425 - 116265 . Now, at this point of time it is quite difficult to determine your category rank as it depends on the number of candidates that scored more than you in the same category.

You can refer to the official JoSAA counselling link from closing and opening ranks for all NITs, IIITs and GFTIs, here is the link for same: https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx

You can also refer to the rank predictor too: https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-rank-predictor

Also, here is a college predictor link where you can get a personalized report for the colleges you can get in: https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor
