Considering 2019 round 7 you have chances of getting seat in IT, CSE and ECE in IIIT,  Sri City Chittoor the cut off for SC category was 8160 , 6347 and 7482  respectively. And the NITs that you have chances of getting seat are

• VNIT, Nagpur: Mining
• NIT, Mizoram: ECE

Cse at IIIT Sri city closed at around 33k general rank and ECE closed at around 44k general rank in CSAB special round for EWS category last year.You can expect the same this year too.Seats in special round are alloted subject to they are not filled.

Yes IIIT Sri City still follows IIIT Hyderabad curriculam as IIIT Hyderabad and IIT Hyderabad are the mentor institutions for IIIT Sri City.Not only IIIT Sri City but also many other IIITs follows IIIT hyderabad curriculam as it is the best IIIT of our country.IIIT hyderabad is noly best in IIITs but also much better than many IITs also.

Hi Candidate,

IIIT sri city has an average rating of 3.7/5. The college is said to be developing year after year but still has a lot of improvements to make. The classrooms are well furnished and the labs are well maintained. Coming to placements they are said to be good but not up to the mark of IIIT's. All the best. Hope you take the right decision.

First of all Congratulating you on your nice performance and I would like to tell you that based on two choices if you look for college then NIT raurkela is better than IIIT srinagar, but if you look for more preferred branches then it's computer science engineering so if you are interested in computer science then you can take admissions in iiit srinagar else if you are interested in food processing then nit raurkela is not bad.

It is a famous saying that "choose branch over the college". Going by this, if you have to choose between food processing and computer science and engineering, then I suggest you should go for CSE without second thoughts.

CSE is the best branch placement wise and career opportunities in CSE are way higher than most of the other branches. You could then either go for placements ranging from 6-10lpa from IIIT. This is not the case with the food processing.
