at IIT HYDERABAD will tech companies hire students from material science and metullergy department?

It depends on the companies policy only if they are willing to hire students from metallurgy department then obviously you can sit in their placements but if they don't then you can not do anything though many tech companies do allow students from all branches but many do not as well so if you are going to join metallurgy then think and join accordingly although you will get a great coding culture in iit hyderabad also you may go for off campus placements as well.

I got preparatory rank 16 ST and I want to take artifitial intellengence in iith/iitg/iitb/iitd. so will I get a preparatory seat this year?

It depends on whether the iit you want is providing the preparatory course this year for the desired branch or not. Based on your rank you may most probably  get a seat in the iits you mentioned but a seat in artificial intelligence will have to be seen as it depends whether it is providing the preparatory course or not.

iit hyderabad enjanering physics placements

IIT Hyderabad is an excellent institution, but its placement record in engineering is dismal. Because most students choose higher education, physics isn't very excellent. Engineering physics, unlike conventional engineering disciplines, is not restricted to a single field of science or physics. Looking at the same placement records are also not that great. The average CTC one can easily grab in 30 LPA but the job opportunities available are in varied fields like in applied physics for a selected specialty such as optics  , quantum physics , materials science , applied mechanics , nanotechnology  , microfabrication , mechanical engineering , biophysics , control theory , aerodynamics , energy ), solid-state physics .

Hope this helps.

is jee main enough for iit Hyderabad?

Hello

Hope you are doing great as per the question asked by you, jee main is not enough to get any IIT. you should have to qualify jee advanced. Do work hard and should focus on achieving high and high in entrance exam it totally depends upon the examination if paper is simple then cutoff goes high gradually and if paper or examination is hard then cutoff goes down. You should certainly work hard and should try to achieve high and high in examination.

Hope you found this answer useful.Stay motivated stay positive.

Hello, actually Iam getting metallurgy and material science in IIT madras and Kharagpur and also chemical engineering in IIT Hyderabad whereas mechanical and electrical in new IITs . Iam confused. Can any one suggest me .

Hi, if you are not sure of metallurgy and material science that this is what you want to do for the rest of your life than it is advised to not take up a branch that is very specialized. You can opt for more open branches like Mechanical, CS, IT. Chemical Engineering has a huge demand when it comes for Job opportunities. It would be a safer option than to go for Metallurgy and material Science. If you think that the new IIT you got Mechanical in is going to bloom over the years than it is fine. If you think that the value of that IIT won't be that much you can ignore. If you are ready to compromise with the IITs you wish to get in then you can choose Chemical or Mechanical. Iam Female 7000 Category rank in OBC Can I get IIT Hyderabad Iam from Telangana civil

Hi

This is not easy  as cut off  keeps changing every year  depending upon various factors like

----------)  number of students that appeared in the jee advanced exam,

----------)  kind of marks obtained by them ,

----------)   toughness level of the examination ,

----------)  number of seats available for the branch you want etc.

But yes,

When we go through previous year trend then ,

>>>>>>>> with 7000 obc rank in jee advanced

As per round 6 of josaa counselling,  2020 ,

You have low chance for civil engineering in IIT Hyderabad

For example,

in 6th round of josaa counselling 2020,closing rank for civil engineering in IIT Hyderabad for  OBC category gender female was     5224 obc rank

For civil engineering,

You have chances in following IITs :-

Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar

Indian Institute of Technology Bhubaneswar

Indian Institute of Technology (ISM) Dhanbad

And a few more,

You can check the same at

https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx

Above prediction is on the past year data basis but  cut closing rank for colleges changes every year depending upon several factors so

which is better iit madras electrical engineering or iit hyderabad artificial intelligence and machine learning?

Hello aspirant,

Both the colleges were regarded as India's best engineering institute. You can choose any branch according to your interest.

I'm describing both the institution for the respective branch recent placements records, hope it will help you to make a better decision;

IIT MADRAS - Electrical Engineering -> Almost 80% of students get placements from EE branch yearly. The highest package received in the year 2018-19 is 39LPA. You can expect an average package around 10LPA from the recruiters. The companies which have visited the campus for placements were Flipkart, Huawei, Intel, Cisco, IBM, Microsoft, Qualcomm, Samsung, etc.

IIT HYDERABAD - AI & ML Engineering -> As AI Engineering were included in IIT Hyderabad course recently so I didn't find any previous placements records. Well, you will get a good placement with a handsome package. That is sure. As AI is on trend now every new gadgets is working or will be working with AI in future. So in the field there is a good scope ahead.

How is B Tech Biomedical engineering stream in IIT H, is it research oriented or industry oriented course, how are placement opportunities in Biomedical?

Hiii

Graduate students Mr. S Venkatakeerthy, working with by Dr. Ramakrishna Upadrasta, and Ms. Piyushi Manupriya, working with Dr. J Saketha Nath, have been awarded the Google PhD Fellowship 2021.

which is better in terms of placement nit trichy or iit hyderabad

Hello,

Firstly NITs are better than IITe right. So placement are better in IITs. Then comparing IITH has signed numerous national and international MoUs with corporates and universities for collaboration on academic and professional fronts. Classrooms are top-notch. The library is still in the construction period. Hostel facilities are good. The cleanliness, quality it serves is up to the mark. Personal rooms with sharing are there. Every facility is available for students. Canteen, supermarket etc.

Now NIT Trichy has better placements and internships as compared to Hyderabad. 80-90% of students get placed in different domains. Companies like L&T, Cantilever, PSUs, etc., come for placements. The highest package offered was 17 LPA, and the lowest package was 6 LPA. 15-30% of students got internships.

Finally you go for NIT Trichy is better for internships and jobs offers.

Hope this helps!!

Hello,

Congratulations on getting such good college and branch options. I will give you a preference list which will comprise of all these factors:

  • Overall ranking
  • Infrastructure
  • Location/accessibility
  • Branch that you are been offered(Core/interdisciplinary)
  • Placement opportunities
  • Industry Exposure

The preference order you should consider is:

  1. IIT Delhi , Biotechnology
  2. IIT Kanpur, Material
  3. IIT Madras, Metallurgical
  4. IIT Kharagpur, Material
  5. IIT Kharagpur, manufacturing Science
  6. IIT Hyderabad, Civil

I would also like to add here that an engineering course should be very much taken with an interest in the field so I would suggest you to consider that factor and if you are not aware of the branches mentioned look them up on the internet. More reliable will be to go through the syllabus on the respective colleges' website. An interest in the field is the key factor in deciding how your 4 years of college will be and what opportunities you will land for yourself.
