Eligibility Criteria

Education

Some knowledge of Geological/Earth Sciences is necessary to take the Structural Geology online course. You must also know the basics of Maths/Physics to join.

Certification Qualification Details

Furthermore, you must meet two certification qualifying criteria to receive the Structural Biology certificate. You must obtain at least a 10/25 average assignment score, and an exam marking of at least 30/75 or more to qualify.

For the final score, Swayam will use 25% of your average assignment score, determined using eight assignments of yours with the top marks, and 75% of your exam score. Your final score needs to be 40/100 or more if you want to earn the course certificate.

Step 2: Select the 'Sign-up/Register' tab available at the top. You will redirect to Swayam’s online registration portal.

Step 4: Swayam will mail you a verification link once you select ‘send verification code’. Filling it in, hit ‘create’ to complete the admission process.

Application Details

Evaluation process

Swayam conducts a proctored exam once the Geology course syllabus is finished, which takes place in-person at designated exam centers. There are two primary lots for the exam - one is the morning session (9 AM to 12 noon) and the other in the afternoon session (2 PM to 5 PM).

The exam is also a necessary criterion to qualify for the Structural Geology certification. You can register for it once the online form is open, by paying the required fees.
