Amity University | M.Tech Admissions 2025
ApplyRanked amongst top 3% universities globally (QS Rankings).
Dear Jeya,
No, it is not possible as you can not take admission in two colleges at same time.
Distance education in engineering is not valid.
MINISTRY OF HRD: Very clearly came up with a notification advising DEC not to permit Engineering degrees through correspondence.
You should focus on your studies to get admission in top colleges to get good placemens as there is lot of competition envolve to get into IITs as it is a dream of many students.
Good Luck!!

All the best!
Yes until last year IIT Madras is one of the only IIT which accepted the score of MAT exam for giving admission in their college. But this year no announcement has been made but probably it will continue accepting MAT marks. Along with IIT Delhi, it has also started giving admission to non-engineers students.
For IIT Madras the eligibility criteria are you need to have at least 60% in graduation for general category students and 55% for SC/ST students.
Parameters used by IIT Madras for giving admission to students are MAT score, Past academic performance, Work experience, Diversity and gender. MAT score again has around 55-60% weightage on the merit list.
For engineering students MAT cut off is generally around 96+ percentile with diversity as a factor for you it is likely to fall around 92-93 percentile. You can again get a call with 95+ percentile but with 97+ percentile, you will have a better chance of conversion.
All the best!!
First of all congratulations! The chances for getting into IIT madras for an MBA is quite low. Keeping into account the figures of past years we can expect that the cut off for this college will be around 96 percentile. Although there is no need to be low as with such a good percentile you can definitely get a good college. All the best shivjyoti!
