Hello student if you're not interested in ECE branch then you should not go with IIT Roorkee, yes it's true that IIT Roorkee is more preferable among students in comparison with DTU because of faculties facilities and the tag of IIT.
If you're interested in CSE and you're getting a seat in DTU then without any hesitation get admission in DTU and go with your interest so that you can do better in future and enhance your skills.
DTU is also a top notch engineering college in so there's no need to worry about academics, faculties, campus life etc.
Cu t off vary every year on various factors like level of question in examination seats available and total nunumber of applicants in the entrance examination. Admission in DTU is on the basis of marks/rank obtained in Jee main where as admission in IIT Roorkee is through Jee advance.
In case you're worried about seat predict your college with the help of careers360 college predictor. - https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

Dear applicant it is very overwhelming to get to know about CAT Score. But as you know Institutions bearing IIT Tag has higher cut off compared to others. But yes compared to other IITs, IIT Roorkee has less requirements but that also doesn't go below 80-85 percentile. So with 61.08 percentile you better try for some other good private colleges where you can explore your career goals, rather than solely focussing on IITs. Because of your category you still try for IIT Roorkee, considering their vacancy matrix and you may get a seat.
Good luck!!

You need to secure below 100 rank inorder get into Cse branch in both IITS. Overall rank below 7000 is good to secure a seat in the above IITs for other branches and it also depends on your category.
These closing ranks are based on the previous year cut off trends, these may vary from year to year based on some criteria like the number of students attended the exam, difficulty of the exam, number of seats available and previous year cut off.

Hey,
First of all , congrats.Getting a seat in IIT itself an achievement . Now the question arises whether to prefer branch to college or not . As far as i understood by your question is that you are getting Civil in IIT Roorkee ,IIT Indore and IIT Patna & Electrical in ISM Dhanbad .It mostly depends on your area of interest .If you can compromise with your branch then go for IIT Roorkee .It is one of the top 5 IITs in India .It has very good placements for all the branches. The highest package offered in IIT R(Civil branch) is 32LPA .If you are a physics lover , I would suggest go for Electrical in ISM Dhanbad only .The placements for Electrical Department in ISM is also good. Choose wisely, as you have to study for 4 yrs .
Hope this helps.
IIT Roorkee has a very beautiful campus. The college infrasture though very old but is maintained in an awesome way. All the facilities like sports complex, swimming area and laboratories are available in the campus. Hostels are very nice and good.
No doubt campus infrastructure is good Wi-Fi working 24x7 due to LAN, there are two lecture hall complex apj block and garlic block in both block we study In each hostel have stationary shop, canteen (day and night) Food quality in mess is as usual below average but sometimes it's good. Hospital are there and those who interested in sports. Sports facilities are well and good.
The facilities and infrastructure in the department are well-designed. Wi-Fi facilities connect labs and classrooms. The library has a wide range of books. The canteen serves Chinese, North Indian, and South Indian cuisine, providing the best food.
