To get into an UG course to IIT you must appear for JEE main exam(normally held in the month of January and in April). Whereas for M.Tech you need to write GATE examination(the application process for which is already over).

After giving James Thomas scholarship IIT Roorkee doesn't give free education. If you are eligible for the James Thomas scholarship after admitted to IIT Roorkee you will get 25000 per month during your education. But in this you have to obtain minimum 8.0 CGPA in every year.
