Hello student.
Firstly, congratulations on scoring a percentile of 98.863. It is a good score. BUt the competition keeps increasing by the day. IIIT Hyderabad is one of the top premier institutions in the nation. Since you have mentioned that you belong to the obc category you may have a chance of getting into some good nits though we cannot say for sure that you will be guaranteed a seat. Still you can apply for it. Based on the reservation there is a chance that you might get through
I suggest you to apply for state colleges or any other private and government institutions such as NIT Calicut as well. There are pretty many good private institutions where you can apply. Here are few good private institutions
1. Ssn college in chennai
2. Amrita institution in coimbatore
3. Psg college of engineering in coimbatore
4, cbit college in Hyderabad
5. Vasavi college
6. Sastra deemed to be a university in thanjavur

Hello Aspirant,
See it is little bit difficult to predict whether you get seat or not because the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.
But although according to the rank you have mentioned in the question you have some chances of getting into IIIT Hyderabad according to previous year's cut-offs which you can check out from the link given below :-

Since the nta is not declaring marks any more so nobody can't say specific marks to get admission in iiit Hyderabad. But I can tell you the opening and closing percentile according to last year, to secure seat of ECE in iiit Hyderabad the opening percentile was 99.97 percentile and the closing percentile was 98.26
All the Best!!!
Hey!
IIIT Hyderabad: placement records for ECE branch are really good. Many big and reputed companies like Google, Qualcomm, Philips, Nvidia, Amazon, Microsoft etc visit for placements.
Highest salary package goes somewhere around 35-40 LPA , and average is expected to be around 10-15 LPA. They also provide internships. And placement cell is Also efficient, they train students for placements and conduct various programs and workshops for that.
Faculty and curriculum is also good. Teachers are really helpful and knowledgeable and curriculum is up to date, though it's nla bit hectic but then if you'll manage your time and focus on your goals then you can easily do good in your academics.
All the best!
The infrastructure is pretty good. They have good classrooms and really good facilities at the lab. The college has a great research culture, with a huge chunk of money being invested in research labs. The Wi-Fi facilities are not that good, and the network is not that good. Also, all classrooms are not air-conditioned. The hostels are also pretty good. But there's one issue with hostels, which is drinking water. It has happened many times that drinkable water is not available on many floors. Also, the lift does not work properly and gets stuck many times.
The infrastructure is amazing. We have spacious classrooms. Laboratory is well-maintained. Sports facilities are also good. LAN is also provided in every classroom. It provides a good library. Our campus is Wi-Fi-enabled. Canteen facility is also good.
our college have all neccessary infrastructure, facilities and equipments.there are sports centres also in my college which can give students additional opportunities for their skills.college hostels have wifi systems all over it.
