Candidates who have passed the Higher Secondary (10+2) Examination in General Stream of West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or any other equivalent examination of a University/Board with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English are eligible for provisional admission to the First Year Class of the aforesaid Undergraduate Engg/Tech/Arch/ Pharm courses.
Admission Details
Provisional admission will be made on the basis of the Provisional Admission Letter for a seat of Jadavpur University issued by the WB-JEE for Joint Entrance Examination for Admission to Engineering, Medical/Technological Degree Colleges at any of the Reporting Centers provided the candidate satisfies the prescribed following medical fitness (except for candidates applying under Physically Challenged quota).

The first thing which you will definitely observe is the peaceful nature of the university , a perfect surrounding for education . Jadavpur University is an eco friendly University . Well due to lockdown some corners of the university is not that we'll maintained but I assure you that the university is clean, well maintained . The most interesting part of the university are the CL( CENTRAL LIBRARY) AND DL ( DEPARTMENTWL LIBRARY) containing all types of books which will definitely catch your eyes
