Hi Venkat,JNTU  kalikiri provides boys hostel and there will be only limited places in it according to tha average no.of students live in thya hostel there every year.If you go there and take a seat in that or book one in that hostel then you will surely get place in it.

Hello Kambala Venkatesh, with 714 rank in PGECET 2019, it is very difficult for you to get admission in OU or JNTUH. As you belongs to OC category, but despite this, it is very difficult for you to get admission in Jawaharlal Nehru technological university.

Yes, for your rank you have chances to get PG Admission at Osmania University. Since you belong to BC-D Category you have chances to get. But there are possibilties that even you may not get. Because as there are only 30 seats of intake given and the first priority is given to the GATE rankers rather than PGECET at the time of seat allocation. Anyways as per previous year closing ranks you may get. The Osmania University is one of the top most university of India. It is ranked at 43rd by NIRF MHRF GOVERNMENT of India. You have not mentioned your category to which you belong to.It is slightly difficult to answer your query but with such rank it is difficult to get a seat in JNTU Ananthpur.There is slightest chance to get a seat in Computer science engineering if you belong to ST as the cutoff was 46113 and if by chance you belong to BC-E then you may get chemical engineering as the cut off rank was 43925.

You have not mentioned your category to which you belong to.Based on 2018 cut off trends you may get seat in Chemical engineering if you belong to any of SC or ST or BC-E category.As the cut off for SC- was 67883 ST was 71425 BC-E was 43925.And the cut off ranks for other categories are below the rank you have secured.However, cut off is subjected to change it may increase or decrease slightly.So hope for the best.

First of all congratulations on getting a seat in ECE in MECS. MECS ECE is itself a very good branch to study in so do not get disheartened if you do not get your desired branch in JNTUH because it has very high cut off and is very difficult to get admission in. However hope for the best in the second round of counselling.
