Shoolini University Admissions 2025
ApplyNAAC A+ Grade | Ranked No.1 Private University in India (QS World University Rankings 2025)
See both the colleges are good. But if you have to differentiate between two then I would recommend you to go for IIIT BASARA or RGUKT BASAR. The reason behind it is because IIIT BASAR have better placement packages compared to JNTU. In JNTU the placements are good but the median salary offered isn't that good as compared to IIIT BASAR. Also for CSE/IT, IIIT have better teachers who have a good experience in the field. Also the number of alumni's in IIIT working in different IT companies are more than JNTU so this will lead you to more placement positions. Most importantly, IIIT have better curriculum which are more industry related and you will find it very helpful for your worklife.
**I would recommend you to conduct some research by yourself before taking the decisions.

I hope this answer helps. All the very best for your future endeavors!
Greetings of the day dear aspirant
To get into institutions like JNTUHCEH or OU, you need a good rank(<3000) for an OC candidate.
Marks vs rank depends on various factors like gender, caste,IPE,region, and also on standard of paper. The cutoff trends changes every year and it depends on the number of students appearing in the examination, difficulty level, number of available seats, etc.
For an OC candidate scoring above 110 is must to seek admission into these colleges. Again this score is not a perfect figure but the probability is more with this score.
To have a detailed look at the previous years' TS EAMCET cutoff trends, you can visit the following link provided below:

Hope this helps!!
All the best for your future endeavours

Hello aspirant,
At first I am glad for your career plan. It purely depends on your interest where you are willing to work and placements you are going to be placed in respective college you are studying in. If you are a hard worker and being placed in abroad and if you are comfortable in working their then you can continue working in abroad itself. Otherwise you can work in your home country.
Hope this helps you.
Thank you.
Hello Tejasree,
Both JNTU and VIT Chennai are unique in their own ways. Both are well recognized colleges in India. Being a girl you shouldn't take a back step in choosing the best college. Since Hyderabad is your hometown you will be feel safe in choosing JNTU. But if you choose VIT Chennai which is out of your hometown makes you to experience the outer world. This helps you in getting rid of nervousness when you are placed at anywhere in the country or even out of country too. Moreover VIT Chennai has all the minimum facilities for girls living there. Compared to JNTU VIT has well infra-structured colleges, labs, experienced teaching faculties, hostel facilities and good placement record. So please try to check the pros and cons to choose the best college.
Hope this helps you.
Good luck.
Thank you.
Hi Aspirant,
I would like to compare both colleges for you based on rank, placement and salary, So that you can have clear picture of colleges. First coming to VIT ( Vellore Institute of Technology), Vellore.
Now coming to Second college JNTUH (Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad.
Now talking about CSE program both universities are equally good from the above data which I have mentioned. Now it depends on rank/score of the entrance exam of VIT (VITEEE) and the Telangana EAMCET score for JNTUH, based on which you get admission. If you are comfortable with staying in Telangana then focus on EAMCET for JNTUH or VIT (VITEEE) in Chennai. Hope this information helps you . All the best for admission.
Thanks & Good luck.

Hi Tejasree,
EAMCET total marks is 160. According to 2020 cut off marks for JNTUH (Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University) for General Category is 129 -142. The Cut off rank for OBC category was 1447 according to 2019 data. As JNTUH is the top most college in Telangana capital. It has huge demand and admission process are done based on merit list not management quota.
As you belong to OBC category which falls under general category since 2019 and has 15% seats reservation. But Telangana Chief Minister, Mr. KCR garu has announced 17 new caste included and 25% reservation for OBC category in education and employment. OBC has four sub categories A, B, C and D which already includes 112 caste since 2019. This news was announced in September,2020. If your caste is listed in 17 new ones, You have some chances to get admission in JNTUH. Score is important too, You cannot just depend completely on your reservation as your plus point. Aim for good score around 120-130, so that you can get selected in merit list. Hope this informations helps you.
Thanks.
Hello Ranjith,
All the three colleges you have mentioned above are very good to choose CSE branch whether it be JNTU to Hyderabad for CBIT Hyderabad or even SRM University.
ALL THE THREE COLLEGES HAVE VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE IN PROVIDING PLACEMENTS GOOD INFRASTRUCTURE AND ECONOMICS IN COMPUTER SCIENCE ENGINEERING THEY HAVE VERY GOOD YEARS OF EXCELLENCE FROM THE PAST FEW YEARS AND ALMOST ARE IN THE TOP IN THEIR RESPECTIVE DOMAINS.
Now it is your desire to choose the college for computer science and engineering you may consider different aspects for choosing your college if you want a college with good placement and internship facilities u better go with SRM University.
Or if you are a student of the Telangana state or you have a good drawing that is below 10000 in EAMCET then you can get a free seat in Jain to you and CBIT colleges you need not to pay any college fee or tuition fee to the college management but you only need to pay hostel fee and some other feel like library fee or any other transport fee.
So if you are willing to have a free seat then you can choose gentube aur CBIT.
Hello Mounika.
It is not a very big issue of loosing the employee id and registration no.
You can still retrive them in the following ways.
You can contact the JNTUH head office about retriving your details and one of the simplest way among them is ,
You may have to submit any of the proofs of you working at the JNTUH like the pay slips application form or even the call letter or photohraphs of them.
You can even submit the bank statements you you have received your salary atleast once .
The college has good infrastructure. The classrooms are clean and spacious, with proper seating and ventilation. The library has many books and a quiet place to study. Labs are well-equipped with the necessary tools for practical work. There is Wi-Fi on campus, and computer labs are also available. The campus is green and well-maintained, with places to sit and relax. Hostels are decent, with basic facilities like clean rooms, water, and food.
It is a spacious college with good labs, library, department, medical, etc. The college provides a cricket ground, basketball, football, volleyball courts and even a separate complex for indoor games. Hostels were good and food quality was also good in both mess and canteen.
College infrastructure refers to the physical and technological facilities available on campus, such as classrooms, libraries, labs, sports facilities, and hostels. A good infrastructure supports a better learning environment and overall student experience. It includes modern amenities, proper maintenance, and accessibility for students and staff. A college with strong infrastructure helps in providing a comfortable and efficient space for academic and extracurricular activities.
