With this rank in BC_D category you can expect a seat in Osmania University. But for JNTU Hyderabad your chances are little less as the cutoff has been very tough for CSE branch and in BC_D category.

You can definitely get a seat in Chaitanya Bharti institute of Technology and O U college of Technology Hyderabad in your desired M.Tech specialization in CSE.

According to your query and taking into consideration the amount you paid to jntu , i would personally recommend you to go to college's website and see the fee structure but according to my knowledge the fees of jntu is very low . Tuition fees for first year is 12.5k

JNTU is one of the best colleges in telangana. They have good infrastructure,lab, hostel facilities. They have very good faculty as compare to other colleges. For mechanical engineering it's best option. They also have good placements percentage if we see there placements records.

From every aspect VIT and SRM are better than the others. Both these university have great infrastructure . They are more reputed universities with good record in academics. They have well experienced teaching faculties. When there is a comparison between VIT and SRM. The answer would be VIT as they have submitted more research work than SRM. If you are a studios person and competition loving person you should opt for VIT. If you are studious and fun loving person then you should opt for SRM. These two universities have better placement opportunities which includes big MNC's and offer best packages. When it comes to discipline VIT is better than SRM. Fees wise VIT is expensive than SRM. There is only one college in Telangana which accepts AP PGECET score for admission in M.Tech course. TRR Engineering College, Patancheru is the only college that accepts AP PGECET score. It is a private college that was established in the year 2002 and is a co-ed college. But there are no Mechanical related M.E/M.Tech course. JNTUH College of Engineering, Hyderabad or Osmania University, Hyderabad does not accept AP PGECET score for admissions.

Almost 65% students got placed from this college with good packages. The highest package offered was 8 LPA while the average was 4 LPA and the lowest being 2.4 LPA. Also students are offered great internships from this college. Companies like GMR, LNT, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra and others comes for campus placements whereas in JNTU Kalikiri the placements are decent. I believe Chemical Engineering at JNTU or Osmania has a wider scope and career prospects than Food Process Technology at Osmania. If possible change your preference in order to get the former branch.

Being located near Industrial hubs at Hyderabad and Chennai futher provide impetus to training and placements. Companies like LG chem, Piramal, Dr Reddys, IOCL are regular recruiters at JNTU Chemical. among the above colleges, jntu kakinda is established in 1946 whereas nit ap was established in 2015.  jntu kakinda is also ranked 97 by NIRF. however on basis of alumni and students reviews , nit ap tadepalligudam is better. it has better faculties(teaching quality), academics and infrastructure.it is a good growing institute while for jntu kakikda , it is a good college but its placement decreased from 2016. int NIT , ap many mnc come for placement and placement are also good. it is also better in terms of co curriculur activitiesand aslo students got more free time to do extra activities and study according to the timetable, overall it is better .
