Hey Aspirant,
Osmania University of Technology is offering a four-year B.Tech course in Food Processing Technology (FPT). Applicants should have completed a 10 + 2 or equivalent course in Physics , Chemistry and Mathematics as options. The admission is based on the performance of the EAMCET. In B.Tech, the subjects covered are mainly Mathematics, Engineering Physics, Organic and Inorganic Chemistry, together with English and Computer Science.
Career prospects are certainly very bright, as the job of a food technician involves not only improving the quality of food products through proper packaging and preservation, but also maintaining quality and hygiene.
You can also look forward to a career with central and state government food processing units as development officers, research scientists and supervisors. Global organizations such as WHO and UNICEF are also constantly working with food technologists.
Don't expect placements In food processing department at OUCT. Placements at OUCT stills need many improvement.
If you want to go with Chemical technology and confused between OUCT and JNTUH, then take look at the following points below:
At OUCT, Median salary is of about Rs 5.5 Lakh per annum.
When it comes to affiliated colleges, then prefer OUCT affiliated colleges first and then JNTUH affiliated ones. I would like to suggest that don't go for affiliated ones of any of them.
You can go through the data of both the colleges, then take your decision.
If you're really interested in Food processing technology and want to pursue your career in that domain, then only you should go for that.
Otherwise, you should opt chemical in JNTUH as placements are much better at JNTUH than OUCT.
Final decision will be yours.
All the best.

Hello student,
With a rank of 633 in bc d category, it becomes difficult to secure a seat in the ou or jntuk when comparing the results of the past years.
However, you can go through the following article to know about the cut off of the previous years using the link given here-
https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/ap-pgecet-cutoff
Hey,
First of all congratulations on scoring such good marks. The cut offs shows a great fluctuation every year. It's seems difficult to say at this point of time what the cut off for this year will be.

Dear aspirant,
According to your query and taking into consideration the amount you paid to jntu , i would personally recommend you to go to college's website and see the fee structure but according to my knowledge the fees of jntu is very low . Tuition fees for first year is 12.5k
Hello!
From every aspect VIT and SRM are better than the others. Both these university have great infrastructure . They are more reputed universities with good record in academics. They have well experienced teaching faculties. When there is a comparison between VIT and SRM. The answer would be VIT as they have submitted more research work than SRM. If you are a studios person and competition loving person you should opt for VIT. If you are studious and fun loving person then you should opt for SRM. These two universities have better placement opportunities which includes big MNC's and offer best packages. When it comes to discipline VIT is better than SRM. Fees wise VIT is expensive than SRM. Choose wisely, ALL THE BEST. Hope the answer was helpful.
Thank you
Hello,
There is only one college in Telangana which accepts AP PGECET score for admission in M.Tech course. TRR Engineering College, Patancheru is the only college that accepts AP PGECET score. It is a private college that was established in the year 2002 and is a co-ed college. But there are no Mechanical related M.E/M.Tech course. JNTUH College of Engineering, Hyderabad or Osmania University, Hyderabad does not accept AP PGECET score for admissions.
The college has good infrastructure. The classrooms are clean and spacious, with proper seating and ventilation. The library has many books and a quiet place to study. Labs are well-equipped with the necessary tools for practical work. There is Wi-Fi on campus, and computer labs are also available. The campus is green and well-maintained, with places to sit and relax. Hostels are decent, with basic facilities like clean rooms, water, and food.
It is a spacious college with good labs, library, department, medical, etc. The college provides a cricket ground, basketball, football, volleyball courts and even a separate complex for indoor games. Hostels were good and food quality was also good in both mess and canteen.
College infrastructure refers to the physical and technological facilities available on campus, such as classrooms, libraries, labs, sports facilities, and hostels. A good infrastructure supports a better learning environment and overall student experience. It includes modern amenities, proper maintenance, and accessibility for students and staff. A college with strong infrastructure helps in providing a comfortable and efficient space for academic and extracurricular activities.
