Designing for Sustainment Keeping Improvement Work on Track Patient Safety IV at Johns Hopkins

Projects focused on patient safety and quality improvement must be kept on course, on schedule, and within budget if they are to be successful. Students will learn about and have the chance to use a number of tools in this course to direct and manage patient safety and quality efforts. These involve instruments for defining success, creating a strategy for managing change, and conducting a premortem to detect project failure risks. Designing for Sustainment: Keeping Improvement Work on Track (Patient Safety IV)  training will also provide learners with the tools they need to include stakeholders and get important people engaged in the success of their project.
