Thank you

Hope this information helps you.

Dear aspirant,

As you have secured 30.9 percentile in kiits let me tell you that it's very difficult to predict in this percentile system because it has been introduced from the year 2020 and so the dynamics gets changed every year.

As per the previous year cut offs the cse branch gets closed by 3k rank and core branches like mechanical , electrical , automotive department goes upto 15k and lower branches upto 20k.

Although various factors are considered while deciding the cut offs like number of candidates appearing in the examination, number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs and difficulty level of the paper.

For more information you can check out the link given below-

Hi,

Getting a degree in CSE from KIIT is a good option for no doubt. IT related companies do visit for campus placements in huge numbers and placements are also the best among other branches for CSE. You'll not regret for sure doing CSE from this college.

Kiit is a very good college for studying Btech. And the reasons are :-

  • In KIIT you will get very good marks and also you will have a wide scope to learn.
  • I have visited most of the IITs in India but still I liked KIIT most coz KIIT may be the one place university which has all the facilities near by. If you got bored from the hostel food then you can have any food that you like just outside of your hostel like dominos, mon ginis, any street food and a lot of restaurants which will provide you hostel delivery for free.
  • KIIT has one of the most beautiful building architecture and one of the best infrastructure.
  • Hostel food of KIIT is better then others colleges hostel food.

  • Most of the teachers of KIIT are from NITS or IITs or Phds. So you can expect a proper level of guidance from them.
  • KIIT organises a lot of events, talks, conferences, and activities. I Studied in KIIT for 2 years and I did not found a single week then there was no event was scheduled. And KIIT Fest is really awesome.
  • KIIT has a world known name. Every year a lot of students from different countries come to KIIT for studying BTECH, BCA, and English Literature.
  • KIIT has a activity center known as KIIT Students Activity Center (KSAC) where you can go every day to improve your Singing or Dancing etc skills.
  • KIIT takes some good amount of money during admission and provide you one of the best laptop. Even KIIT will take care of the all the issues regarding the laptop for free, till you passed, (unless you have some Hardwire damage).
  • KIIT provided 24X7 wifi throughout any corner of the campus. Every student gets 5GB data per week to use. But torrent is restricted.
  • KIIT has one of the most placement records in India. Last year School of Engineering (Btech programs) recorded 92% placement.. A lot of students got placed in 3-4 companies. Salary package offered this year is higher compared to previous years. While the highest package is Rs. 33 lakh, average salary this season is Rs. 4.6 lakh. Every year nearly 82-85 companies recruit students from School of Engineering (Btech Programs). For 2016 passout batch out of 2636 students, Accenture top recruiter with 1414 offers, followed by Wipro (899), Cognizant (705) and Infosys (388).
  • KIIT has a hospital known as KIMS where you can go and do medical check up for free just by showing your college Id card.

Hello Student

Mainly in respect of placement Kalinga Institute of Technology is better for doing BTech courses as the students interest goes for. But in respect of placement and fees for BTech student and the PES University Bangalore has not such better achievement in recent years. That means Kalinga Institute of Technology Bhubaneswar has 100% placement record in recent years. For the year 2021 for 3600 BTech students there was job opportunities of 4200. More than 270 MNCs  visited the institute for their engineering recruitment which salary was not less than 16 lacs per annum. But PES University Bangalore has no such records in recent years in respect of placement. The fees for PES University Bangalore for BTech student is near about 13 lacs for the for the 4 years B tech course. Fees for BTech students in KIIT, Bhubaneswar is near about 17 lacs for 4 year course.

This will help.

College Infrastructure

The college's Infrastructure is great and has a very premium appeal compared to what I have seen so far in other colleges i have visited. Although of the fees here is very high too but the experience makes it worth it. The ambience, the comfort and the good environment is soothing. Although the current scenarios have been a bit left and right around the college due to 2 frequent suicides and spreading of misinformation, I think else wise it is a great place to be in. Basic amenities like wifi, washrooms, food and all are of top quality and there are not many extra restrictions related to any of it either.
