Hey Raj,
Well to answer your question UPES Dehradun and Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology are both among India's top universities. Comparing these two academically is quiet difficult. The course is supported by prominent professors, the majority of whom hold a PhD. All of the amenities are in good working order.
However, when we look at the placement record in UPES, it is even more outstanding. This isn't to say that KIIT isn't worthwhile. The most common fields of study in KIIT are CSE and IT. More than a hundred firms hire KIIT CS engineers. However, in UPES, the percentage of students who are placed is higher. More than 90% of CS students get hired by prominent software organizations such as Amazon, Accenture, Tech Mahindra, Deloitte, BYJU'S, LinkedIn and IBM, and other companies are among them. In UPES, the average placement is higher than in KIIT.
Hope this information helps.
Regards.
Hey,
As per NIRF ranking, Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology ranked 128th, on the other hand Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology is on 42nd rank. These ranks are decided on various parameters like teaching , learning , resources, research and professional practice, past years records and every important thing that a student struggles to know about. So keeping in mind the reliability of these ranks its better to go with KIIT.
But if we consider the 2 branches, though they are related but in ISE you will be dealing with software only, whereas in CSE its a combination of both Software and Hardware. So if you are interested in both of these then KIIT is a good place. Otherwise go for ISE from Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology.
Best Wishes.
Hi,
There is a never ending debate on which is better between KIIT and LPU in CSE, so no definite answer can be given. But let me perform a comparative analysis based on insights shared by my friends from both these institutes.
Academics: Both the institutes are really good in terms of academics.
Resources: Although both the institutes have state-of-the-art labs, LPU takes a leap here due to its technology driven labs (MAC lab, Google Lab, and SAP Lab, etc.)
Hackathons: LPU again takes the lead as students from LPU each year win many hackathons and get their name registered in the good books of the top-notch organizations compared to students of KIIT.
And now, perhaps the most important factor...
Placements: KIIT here takes the front-seat. It has already made its mark in terms of placements compared to LPU, but that doesn't mean LPU students are badly placed.
Now, these are some crucial insights that, I hope, will help you make your decision.
All the best.

Hello,
According to me for an average student KIIT is better because this has all the infrastructure well built and has NAAC accreditation A grade but, MIT and amrita college doesn't have accreditation and also for placements kiit has median salary INR 8 lakhs, amrita college has INR 4.75 lakhs and MIT's placement details are not clear and the college fees of KIIT is INR 3.75 lakhs but, MIT's fee is INR 1.30 lakhs and also by research it is found that MIT is not such a reputed college as that as KIIT and Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham.
By all this over all discussion and comparision we came to conclusion that KIIT is better than other 2 colleges which are mentioned above.

All the best.
The college's Infrastructure is great and has a very premium appeal compared to what I have seen so far in other colleges i have visited. Although of the fees here is very high too but the experience makes it worth it. The ambience, the comfort and the good environment is soothing. Although the current scenarios have been a bit left and right around the college due to 2 frequent suicides and spreading of misinformation, I think else wise it is a great place to be in. Basic amenities like wifi, washrooms, food and all are of top quality and there are not many extra restrictions related to any of it either.
Yes, college have all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment classrooms, laboratories, libraries, sports centres and hostels (for eg. WiFi, smart boards) All were present Very good infrastructure Living space was clean and the fod in the mess was good
The infrastructure is really good. Many trees surround the entire campus. College has all the necessary infrastructures, facilities and equipments. Classrooms have smart boards which make teaching-learning process more advanced.
