The college has all necessary infrastructure and is well maintained. You'll find ample greenery and clean spaces. The classes and laboratories are well equipped to cater to the curriculum's needs. Over all it is brilliant.
I am studying Computer Science because this field of study really intrigues me. The curriculum is adequate and there are there are abundant opportunities for those willing to try. The faculties are dedicated towards providing the us with the right resources and teachings to help catalyse the learning experience.
It has been well, as far as I've heard. From what I have heard, the placements reached an all time high of 100% for several consecutive years. I do not have much idea about the highest salary package offered but I've heard that everything was well
Well, like all private universities, the fee is high. Although, they are doing all they can to provide for you and make it all worthwhile. And at the end of the day, it is our result that'll determine whether it is worth it or not.
It's amazing. Safe, hygienic and very scenic locations.
Infrastructure is really good. Big building with good architecture..... Countless buildings and many more are being constructed, gym, swimming pool , cricket stadium(Jsca approved), indoor stadium, basketball court, hockey stadium... everything you imagine its here.
Curriculum is updated regularly. Quality of teaching is fair and unbaised. Every necessary subject be it professional communication to economics is added to the curriculum. Good an experienced teachers will help you every now and then
Placement is also good.Heighest pakage of 40 lakhs has been cracked by one student this year. Amazon , dell, flipkart , ola and many more companies come here for the placement. A seperate placement cell is constantly working for the better placement of the students.
You will not regret paying the fees.
Wonder ambience with grenery everywhere . Clean campus.
The college has a great administration.
From the point of view of College Infrastructure, KIIT should be marked a 9 out of 10, having state-of-the-art classrooms, laboratories, and other facilities. Although the Non AC hostels are somewhat not as good as their AC compatriots, still as a whole KIIT has decent hostels. KIIT has world-class facilities in Sports where many students emerge like Dutee Chand, etc. Food in the hostels are average to good, sometimes they turn bad but still it is better than many private colleges in India.
Currently, I am pursuing Electronics and Computer Science Technology, which is completely a new stream here. I am into my second year. The quality of teaching is very good. Most Professors are IITians or retired IIT Professors. Their style of teaching is very convincing, keeping in mind the syllabus of the Courses offered. The Course has been updated and now it is appropriate to make you job-ready.
KIIT offers good placement. Since I have joined here I have heard that it has 100% placement in streams associated with Computer Science Engineering and Electronics Engineering. Since my stream is new and hasn't faced placement yet so I cannot tell about placement from my stream. But yes, placement from Civil Engineering has gone down very much, and is in danger. In 2020, the highest salary went to Rs 30 Lakhs pa, as compared to Rs 39 Lakhs pa in 2019. The average package is around Rs 3-3.5 Lakh
Talking about Fees, I personally feel it is way too expensive. To be in KIIT for a B.Tech. degree Course, a student has to spend Rs 14Lakhs for 4 years only for Academic Purposes, for other expenses such as hostels, etc, the bill goes up to Rs 18Lakhs to Rs 20 Lakhs for 4 years. For this amount, either a Student has to have a family support from the economic point of view, or if they lack that, they have only one option, EDUCATION LOAN.
College campus would get a 10 out of 10 from me. Students can engage in a lot of activities such as sports, societies, research and a lot more. The location of the Campus is in Patia, north of main town of Bhubaneswar, about 12kms odd from Railway Station and 13kms from Airport. Here the teachers and support staff are very friendly and always helping. This Area is quite Safe.
The college does have all the necessary infrastructure. Personally, I was in the Biotech department which has been recently upgraded with good facilities. Otherwise, the University is very well equipped for all kinds of requirements.
The quality of teaching is good in the Biotech department. At our time the number of students were less which translated to better care from the teachers. With an increase in the number of students, I can imagine that it would be difficult to manage the practical labs.
Most students were placed from our batch with salaries going upto 6 lakhs per annum. Having said that, many studenta prefer opting for PhD after completing M.Tech in Biotechnology. The faculty are well connected and help in placing the students in labs all around the world.
Great infrastructure ,Beautiful campus, all kind if facilities available, from academics to sports to any other curriculum activity students like to indulge themselves into. Also they make sure that students are not only good in academics but also all rounder
Always takes new initiative in academics and helps students. Even during this lockdown the university has made sure that all exams and classes are taken in online mode. They are also providing academic facilities beyond college curriculum in different online platform.
Placements are good for branches like CS , IT and ETC and for other branches also the placement is fine. But preferred branches are above mentioned ones because majority companies come from it sector.
Little expensive
Great campus life
No nothing else
Being specific about KIIT school of Biotechnology, almost all equipments are available with proper infrastructure. Classroom are equipped with laptops projectors and speakers for audio visual feed. They are air-conditioned and faculties use MS PowerPoint presentations to deliver lectures. KSBT has a good library area with most of the books available and also have ebook repository for books that are not available in hardbound format. Sport centers are huge and we'll equipped. Hostels food hygenic
I did BTech Mtech dual degree course in biotechnology it saves 1 year. Quality of teaching is excellent as most of the faculties are experienced and have good record of publications with post docs from abroad. Curriculum is updated enough to get placed. Practicals teach all the basic techniques which most of the Biotechnology based companies require.
KIIT is known for its placements with good package. In my batch among the group of people who were interested in Job sectors got 100% placement with highest package of 7 lakhs p.a. in core biotech companies. KSBT conducted the placement drive and average package was 3.5 lakhs p.a. in core biotech companies. We also received a demo placement drive to get an experience of the process.
Biotechnology is an expensive subject as it deals with many scientific equipments and techniques that cost more than other subjects. My course duration was 5 years and I paid 10 lakhs total. KSBT also provides great opportunities for research in abroad and has many national lab collaborations. It organises many scientific conferences and industrial conclaves throughout the year. Students interact with top personals from various research and industrial sectors directly.
Biotechnology department is a bit isolated from rest of the KIIT schools but bus services are provided now. Best part of KSBT are the annual cultural and sports fest. But the semester curriculum is not in sync with other schools so we never got opportunity to take part in college of other departments. Non teaching staffs are very cooperative and friendly. Location of KIIT is well connected and safe.It has good medical facility equipped with state-of-the-art equipments and it can handle emergency
Overall it was a great experience and undoubtedly my best days of life. As I am into research, KSBT gave me the foundation which helped me to move ahead. Currently I am a research scholar in NIT, Rourkela. I beleive success always comes when preparation meets opportunity and we should be equally qualified for our institute to help us with placements or research and it should not be a one sided event.
It provides world class infrastructure compared to any top ranked public universities or institutes with technologically advanced methods used for studying also the hostel rooms are with all modern facilities and good food
Biotechnology dual degree very upto dated course with very high quality of faculties globally and also they conduct many conferences regarding the recent topics and also provide enough exposure in forms of exchange programs to world class universities
Every schn the university has a dedicated placement cell looks after the specific companies in the subject domain so that every student gets placed almost 90% of student placement with an average salary of about 3-5 lakhs
Per year course fees was 2.10 lakhs and it's worth it as the facilities which we were provided with along with the books, laptops and other essentials it's apt and justifies. Also I am sure we have got more than what we paid for
It's a vibrant campus with different events ranging from cultural to technical and with a perfect blending of students across the globe the teachers staff all were supportive and helped us the location was also very accessible from each corner of the city with a own medical college and hospital it's ready for any abnormal situation
It was a life time experience at KIIT and I will definitely recommend my friends and other family members to look forward in sending their wards to the university which has shaped the future of most of the students for taking up the practical challenges both in personal ans professional course of their life.
The college has a good infrastructure which supports plenty of activities such as different laboratories which should be high end for this field. In terms of equipments and instruments, it has some of the high end ones such as a HPLC, Gas spec, major equipments to conduct basic molecular and cell biology experiments.
This institute has some of the best faculty who are stalwarts in their field and have educated many induduals in various prestigious institutions. The quality of teaching goes with at par with what is not only happening in our country but in the world.
Since this is subject, Biotech is more of a basic science subject. The placements are not yet upto the mark for any biotech college in India. Although this institute is an exception as they assist students in getting a PhD position in national and international institutes.
Of course, there is a high chance of the students getting into good job provided they have a good academic record and with added sincerity. This will enhance their job perspective.
The campus life is very good as compared to rest of the campuses in the institute. It comprises of people from different backgrounds both from national and international states. it brings about an overall development of the student.
Yes, my college have all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. We have all the required laboratories like data structure lab, physics lab, chemistry lab, etc. College has an excellent infrastructure which includes e- library,, library, computer lab and everything you expect from a college.
All the Poffesors are well qualified and they are very friendly and supporting in nature. They conduct regular class tests and presentation for all-round development of the students. They also organise interactive session and seminars for the students.
This college is known for it's good placement. Placement cell of this college works very well in providing good internships and job opportunities as per the potential of the students. I'm still in my second year so can't say much about it.
It costs almost 1 lakhs and 75 thousands rupees per year (academic fees) for a Cs branch student. Though the fee is bit high but this college seems to be very promising that in return we'll get placements and internship opportunities.
The campus provides an amazing college life. We have hostels, separately for both girls and boys. There are various colleges running together which gives us an opportunity to meet and learn something from each other. The mess, pool and all provides an awesome experience. It's very safe and can handle any emergencies.
Yes, it has one of the best infrastructure. Classrooms are air-conditioned, inclined design so that last bench can view the white board and also technology for smart study available. Yes, the living spaces are clean and food is very hygienic.
I am studying Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering because I have always been fascinated my technologies and in this stream I can program, design/build and implement my ideas using modern technologies. Yes, the curriculum is updated and apart from theory knowledge we are provided practical knowledge. We are also taught communication skills.
The placement is very good specially in CS, IT and ETC. Above 90% of the students are placed. This year highest salary was around 30 lpa and average salary was around 4 lpa. And apart from placements we are also prepared for exams for higher studies and even startups.
Yes, you can apply for a transfer from KIIT Bhubaneswar to KL University, Vijayawada, but KL will treat you as a new admission through their lateral entry/transfer policy. This usually means you’ll need to go through their admission process, submit migration/transfer certificates, and get course equivalence approved. However, you will not get a direct fee waiver KL University will charge its own tuition and may not adjust fees already paid to KIIT. You can request concessions through the admissions office, but full transfer without extra payment is generally not possible.
These are prominent institutes in India:
If you compare KIIT Bhubaneswar, VIT Vellore, and BITS Pilani on education, infrastructure, and placements, here's a view:

KIIT Bhubaneswar is growing fast with good facilities and decent placement offers, averaging around Rs 6.5 LPA.
All three provide quality education and good campus life, but your choice should depend on your course and preferences. For detailed info, you can visit careers360 official site

Dear aspirant,
With 96 percentile in JEE MAIN, and being an OBC- NCL female candidate you have a decent chance of getting CSE in many good private colleges but not in top NITs unless your OBC rank is within 10,000 . Since you're from outside of Odisha, KIIT doesn't offer state quota advantage , but you can still get CSE there through KIITEE or direct admission if seats are available, as it’s a private university. Some good colleges for you includes Shiv Nadar University, LNCT Bhopal , MIT-WPU, Pune , SRM,VIT, Jaypee Noida . If budget allows, you will get CSE admission in top private colleges. You can visit this link given below for more information.
Good luck.
