High-speed WI-FI available, clean, green and modern campus. Mess food is quite good. Sports facility is available and perfect trainers are there for every sports. Medical facilities available for students 24*7. Hostel timing is restricted for girls but boys hostel has no restrictions(except 1st yr)
Yes!! Its perfect. Our college conducts events regularly. However, there is a scope of improvement. Our college doesn't listen to students grievance. Its good in all mannerMost of the facilities you will find here are from IITs, NITs, IISc or other great institutions. Course
Not enough idea. More than 80% batch was placed during the initial rounds with the highest package being around 17-18 Lacs, the lowest being 3 Lacs. Top Recruiters were Microsoft, Delloite, L&T, Accenture etc. Leftover people too got enough opportunities later on. Accenture hired 400+ students from our batch.
No Doubt, One of the best infrastructure you will find in entire country. Amazing hostels, campus, gyms, swimming pool, stadiums, park. The nearby area has everything you will ever need. CCD, Big Bazar, Dominos, Pizza Hut, Multiplex. KIIT has its own big world.
Yes!! Its good in all mannerMost of the facilities you will find here are from IITs, NITs, IISc or other great institutions. Course curriculum is standardized on a similar scale like any other good college. The labs, the industry connection is top notch. Better than most of the new IITs.
Yes!! Its good in all manner. Course curriculum is standardized on a similar scale like any other good college. The labs, the industry connection is top notch. Better than most of the new IITs.
The infrastructure is really pretty. The old buildings are just fine but the new ones are really beautiful. KIIT consists of all the necessary equipments like air conditioned classrooms with white boards and projectors. The classrooms are big and spacious and each campus has its own sports centre and food courts with every option of sports and food available respectively. The new library is extravagantly beautiful having the option of both hard copies and e-books of academic as well as others .
I am student of computer science and system engineering-2nd year as it focuses on both the hardware as well as software part of computers. The professors are really amazing they have a vast knowledge on their respective subjects and are always ready to help. The curriculum is well in verse with the present day needs of student and also the placement criteria which helps the student have a better outlook to their future.
The placement of KIIT is really good. 4200 job offers were made for 3750 students and approximately 750 of them were placed in dream/ super dream companies. The highest salary of Rs. 39.00 lakhs was offered by Adobe Systems to a student of core branch of computer science. 80% of the students were placed incampus many of whom went on with higher studies inn reputed national and international colleges.
I joined KIIT in 2019 and the couse cost I pay is Rs. 1,75,000 ant the overall fees including hostel and mess charges is Rs. 2,49,000 (ac room 3 seater). According to me the fees is just fine and of money's worth as the infrastructure is amazing and the amenities provided are really good. They also give you the latest version of laptop at the very start of the 1st semester of your college.
The college campus is really beautiful having places like sculpture park, rose park and mangement park to loiter around. students can participate in various competitions like MUN, college fest and also competitions related to academic as well as general topics. The people around are really helpful and can help in any way possible. Everything needed in the persons daily life is available in and around a kilometer. KIIT has its own medical college hence its emergencies are handled really well.
The entire campus is well placed and within the reach of a person on foot and has its own internship and training programs which always guide and help you in your life
Each campus of KIIT is architecturally beautiful. All the classrooms are equipped with whiteboard, projector, projector-screens and air-conditioners. Laboratories are equipped with all the necessary equipment enough for the students along with some extras. When I was a student my campus had a good in-campus and central library but I obviously feel left out as I am unable to use the new state of the art library. Each campus has its own sports centers providing the facility of each sport/games.
I was studying Electronics and Electrical Engineering as I wanted to explore one of the core subjects of engineering. Some of the professors were well versed in the subject but it totally depends on the professor you get. When I was a student of KIIT the college had mainstream branches which you come across in all the colleges but a couple of years later the college reformed the branches to be more relatable to the present requirement of jobs in the particular field.
Many super dream companies like Royal En-field, SAP, Saporji, Microsoft, Bosch visit the campus along with dream companies(mass- recruiters). Talking of B-tech placements strictly almost all of School of Computer Science and School of Electrical get placed. 2500 plus job offers came for 2400 students. Almost 70% of the students were placed. Highest salary of Rs. 39.00 lakh by Adobe Systems to a student of CSE Branch.
During my time the course cost was 1.10 lakhs /semester and the total cost was 1.56 lakhs /semester as i was staying in an AC hostel(mess charge included). I feel I got my money's worth because the infrastructure is really good and the college provides us with all the amenities along with the sports complexes. The only complain if any will be mess food.
Very well maintained. Every year we get to see some improvement in the college area. University pays attention basically on requirements of students and thus proceeds for improvement of campus and surroundings.
Faculty gives attention to every student. Students even get mentor support for academic part. Extra classes for weak students or extra class for gaining knowledge apart from normal subjects are also provided.
Since last few year kiit has been a part of India's well proclaimed placement list. Multinational, National, industrial, and many more companies bring up good packages for students. Around 200 students get 0 day placement before hand.
Quite good . Compare to other private institutions, KALINGA institute of industrial TECHNOLOGY takes less fees. But provide more facilities to its students and staffs. A person will feel worth investing his/her money.
Awesome! Always fun in the air. Every week brings new things to learn and witnes in the campus. Whether its academic or non academic. Students full enthusiasm participates in events and enjoy a peaceful evening throughout its area
Best
The infrastructure of my college is quite satisfactory and well it does have the necessary equipments and proper lab facilities as well. The living spaces are clean and the food served is to the most hygienic.
Btech in Computer science and system engineering. Yes,my curriculum is updated and does include recent developments required in this field. Not, exactly it does make me job ready right now but it is surely to build up my career in the right way.
Good and satisfactory. Almost more than half of the students were placed in more than two companies and the highest salary package was 33 lakh p.a.( approx).College is quite supportive in the field of placements.
The college has all the necessary infrastructure and facilities like well maintained classrooms and laboratories which have smart boards. There is wifi connectivity all around the campus. The hostel rooms are clean and the mess is hygienic as well.
The curriculum is up to date. Attendance in practical classes are really important. Whatever is taught in classes are enough to score well in the exams. The teachers here are really good and very helpful.
This college provides good placement , specially to the CS and IT branch. I am presently in 2nd year but as far as I have heard that if someone studies well in 4 years then they can get a descent package.
Yes the college has all the infrastructure required for a student. It has well air-conditioned classrooms, laboratories, sports facilities, WIFI, etc. Food quality is better and the place is neat and hygenic
I am currently pursuing B.tech course in Electronics and instrumentation engineering. Teacher student relationship is very good and teachers are also well qualified. It depends on students how he/she performs. Curriculum is always updated according student's needs.
As far as placements is concerned. I currently studying in 2nd Year. As I know the quality of placements is good. Last year 100%studentsw were placed in different companies. 39 lakh rupees was the highest salary offered
Currently I am paying 175000 per semester. Yes, I am getting my money value because faculties are available 24hrs to clear your doubts as well as to take care about you academic career.
Overally the campus life is very good. You can utilize your time fully by getting engaged in various activities. There are various societies in which you can get involved and engage in various social activities.
The college has all necessary infrastructure and is well maintained. You'll find ample greenery and clean spaces. The classes and laboratories are well equipped to cater to the curriculum's needs. Over all it is brilliant.
I am studying Computer Science because this field of study really intrigues me. The curriculum is adequate and there are there are abundant opportunities for those willing to try. The faculties are dedicated towards providing the us with the right resources and teachings to help catalyse the learning experience.
It has been well, as far as I've heard. From what I have heard, the placements reached an all time high of 100% for several consecutive years. I do not have much idea about the highest salary package offered but I've heard that everything was well
Well, like all private universities, the fee is high. Although, they are doing all they can to provide for you and make it all worthwhile. And at the end of the day, it is our result that'll determine whether it is worth it or not.
It's amazing. Safe, hygienic and very scenic locations.
Infrastructure is really good. Big building with good architecture..... Countless buildings and many more are being constructed, gym, swimming pool , cricket stadium(Jsca approved), indoor stadium, basketball court, hockey stadium... everything you imagine its here.
Curriculum is updated regularly. Quality of teaching is fair and unbaised. Every necessary subject be it professional communication to economics is added to the curriculum. Good an experienced teachers will help you every now and then
Placement is also good.Heighest pakage of 40 lakhs has been cracked by one student this year. Amazon , dell, flipkart , ola and many more companies come here for the placement. A seperate placement cell is constantly working for the better placement of the students.
You will not regret paying the fees.
Wonder ambience with grenery everywhere . Clean campus.
The college has a great administration.
From the point of view of College Infrastructure, KIIT should be marked a 9 out of 10, having state-of-the-art classrooms, laboratories, and other facilities. Although the Non AC hostels are somewhat not as good as their AC compatriots, still as a whole KIIT has decent hostels. KIIT has world-class facilities in Sports where many students emerge like Dutee Chand, etc. Food in the hostels are average to good, sometimes they turn bad but still it is better than many private colleges in India.
Currently, I am pursuing Electronics and Computer Science Technology, which is completely a new stream here. I am into my second year. The quality of teaching is very good. Most Professors are IITians or retired IIT Professors. Their style of teaching is very convincing, keeping in mind the syllabus of the Courses offered. The Course has been updated and now it is appropriate to make you job-ready.
KIIT offers good placement. Since I have joined here I have heard that it has 100% placement in streams associated with Computer Science Engineering and Electronics Engineering. Since my stream is new and hasn't faced placement yet so I cannot tell about placement from my stream. But yes, placement from Civil Engineering has gone down very much, and is in danger. In 2020, the highest salary went to Rs 30 Lakhs pa, as compared to Rs 39 Lakhs pa in 2019. The average package is around Rs 3-3.5 Lakh
Talking about Fees, I personally feel it is way too expensive. To be in KIIT for a B.Tech. degree Course, a student has to spend Rs 14Lakhs for 4 years only for Academic Purposes, for other expenses such as hostels, etc, the bill goes up to Rs 18Lakhs to Rs 20 Lakhs for 4 years. For this amount, either a Student has to have a family support from the economic point of view, or if they lack that, they have only one option, EDUCATION LOAN.
College campus would get a 10 out of 10 from me. Students can engage in a lot of activities such as sports, societies, research and a lot more. The location of the Campus is in Patia, north of main town of Bhubaneswar, about 12kms odd from Railway Station and 13kms from Airport. Here the teachers and support staff are very friendly and always helping. This Area is quite Safe.
Hello Aditya,
With a NEET UG 2025 score of approximately 280, getting a BDS seat in Kalinga Institute of Dental Sciences (KIDS), KIIT University, Odisha will be a challenge. The NEET cut-off ranks for BDS in KIDS from previous years suggest that it will be very difficult. In fact, the closing rank for BDS at KIDS was 1,198,235 for general category in Round 3, NEET 2023 and 1,011,636, NEET 2022 (Both NEET scores were significantly above 280).
That said, cut-off scores based on ranks are not stable year to year based on the number of applications, seat availability or other performance observed in a particular year. However, you should still take part in the NEET counselling process and look at other private dental colleges, where the cut-off marks may be lower. Check here for more information: Kalinga Institute of Dental Sciences, Bhubaneswar Cutoff 2025
HEY THERE!!
Which to Choose?
UPES is preferable if you desire better placement percentages, updated curriculum with specialisations, and greater international exposure. The highest and average packages are also slightly improved, and the university provides good industry relations and global options.
KIIT is also an excellent private university with a good reputation, good placements, and great campus life. If you like its campus culture or location, it's still a strong option.
In general, UPES has a marginal advantage in placements and industry interaction for Computer Science.
Select according to your preferences: location, charges, campus, and specializations.
Hello Pranav,
Choosing between IIPM Bangalore or KSRM, KIIT (ABM) will depend on your aspirations, budget, and needs with respect to the academics and placements.
If you want a recognized MBA in Agribusiness Management with UGC-approved degrees and you are looking for a short career path in the sectors of Agriculture, development and rural management, and you want structured academics and decent resources and growing relationships with the industry, then KSRM, KIIT (ABM) is surely the better choice. IIPM Bangalore has been known, in the past, for its aggressive marketing and popularity, but there are negative sentiments in the professional arena regarding the lack of academic credibility over the past. Furthermore, they do not offer UGC-recognized degrees, which perhaps would hinder your career or postgraduate education and career goals in government jobs.
Verdict:
If you are looking for a legitimate, recognized, and secure degree with a future in sector-specific options for careers, choose KSRM, KIIT (ABM).
