NMIMS is a multidisciplinary university with campuses in Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Indore, Shirpur, Dhule, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Chandigarh offering courses in Management, Family Business, Engineering, Pharmacy, Architecture, Commerce, Economics, Law, Science, Liberal Arts, Design, Performing Arts, Mathematical Science and Distance Learning.

For B.Sc. Economics, offered by Sarla Anil Modi School of Economics, The student must have completed a Higher Secondary / Intermediate (10 + 2) with a science stream or any other test known as equivalent thereof, which is valid for the course. It additionally requires 60% marks.

Applicants have to go through the entrance test- NPAT or National Test For Programs After Twelfth. Admission is based on a merit list to be drawn up on the basis of the marks obtained in the NMIMS After Twelfth (NPAT) exam conducted by NMIMS University.

Last date for the registration is 30th of April 2020 and the test will occur on 9th and 10th of May.

Application details for NPAT:

• Candidates can fill out their application form in online mode only. The authority to fill out the application form will not provide an offline service.
• Applicants can apply for NMIMS NPAT 2020 as applications have been started.
• Fill in the application form all the requested information, i.e. financial, educational, etc., carefully.
• Attach the photo and signature of your passport size in the application form.
• The size of the image must be in JPG / JPEG file format.
• Candidates may also make corrections in the application form until the 3rd week of April 2020.
• No hard copy of the application will be sent to the review authority by email.

The age limit for appearing for NPAT is 25 years.

Yes you are eligible for Narsee Monjee Institute Of Management Studies(NPAT) for BBA at 73%. Yes . NMIMS School Of Law is very good. It has BA as well as BBA LLB. So you get options with a strength of around 70 students per classroom.

• The teaching of NMIMS School Of Law is very good.
• They have trimesters (3exams per year) so that each trimester you learn some new subject.
• The Classrooms are well equipped with Air Conditioners, Projectors, Quality benches. The infrastructure of the building is superb with lifts, conference rooms, auditoriums etc)
• They have an internship policy that every trimester(except for the last trimesters for summer vacations) you have to do an internship with an NGO, Law firm, Courts etc that gives you a hell lot of experience.
• Also the Main thing is there is no reservation system in NMIMS(No SC,ST,OBC,Backward Class) Admission strictly based on Merit.

NMIMS-SBM, Mumbai Shortlisting Criteria

• The first part of NMIMS, Mumbai Admission criteria is the shortlisting criteria before final selection round. NMIMS will shortlist the candidates on the basis of following parameters:
• NMIMS-SBM, Mumbai will consider NMAT by GMAC 2019 exam score of the applicants for shortlisting for final admission round.
• Candidates will be short-listed on the basis of the combination of their score in NMAT by GMAC exam and latest preferences of the programmes selected on the NMIMS application / reapplication form.

Final Admission Selection Round Criteria

• Post short-listing on the basis of available scores, applicants will be called for the final selection round (PI Round) at the designated centres
• NMIMS Mumbai and other campuses selection criteria in final admission round award weight to Entrance exam score; Academics; Work Experience and performance in Case Discussion (CD) and Personal Interview (PI) round.
• No weightage will be awarded for the work experience below 6 months. Besides, Training/Project work/work done as an integral part of curricular requirement will not be considered.
• The criteria to generate final merit list for admission will be based on the application data in terms of academic marks obtained, work experience, marks obtained in NMAT by GMAC and Case Discussion & Personal Interview.
• The selection criteria will be based on merit only. Decision regarding cut-off of the merit list will solely lie with NMIMS.

I would prefer you to prepare for 5 years integrated program from IIM Indore.As IIM has its own brand name.It provides the chance of making it to the IIM when the competition is extremely less. While almost 2.1 lakh students appeared for CAT in 2018, only about 18,000 appeared for the IPM test in the same year. Comparing it with the B.Tech graduates who pursue an MBA after engineering and spend 6 years in doing so, IPM saves the students’ one year as it gets completed within a matter of 5 years.

So its better to do IPM instead of doing B.com (//B.com) from any reputed college.

Hello student student if you want to pursue MBA then its really good otherwise you can also pursue LLM master in law which will help you to grasp more things/knowledge about law in which your base is already strong because in MBA you need to work a little hard i guess. NMIMS is a good college for MBA and you can apply for it as eligibility criteria says aspirants must have clear/appearing graduation of minimum 3years.
