My merit for nmims ballb program Is 1234 and I got into nmims Indore campus in the first list and I am waitlisted for Mumbai and bengluru campus. Are there any chances for upgradation in 2nd merit list.

Comsidering your AIR in CLAT 2019 you may not get admissions in National law Universities since the cutoff and merits have been skyhigh this year.

Kirti P. Mehta School of law ( NMIMS )and NIRMA University are considered as one of the prestigious law  imparting institutions. IThese are good options to consider after the top NLUs. They have highly professional and qualified faculy, student friendly environment and certainly good level of academics. They have active placements with  average salary package as 8-10 lacs per annum.

Generally rank upto 4000 -5000 is good enough for admissions in both the Universities and if  your rank is well within the range then getting admission here will not be tough.

For IPU Main campus i.e USLLS the probability for admission is 50%percent. You may or may not get a seat. Since the cutoff has been high and it is the first time IPU and affiliated colleges will offer admission on CLAT basis and not IPU CET, less can be predicted. But your rank is decent and it there are vacancies then you might land up there. Otherwise there are other good Colleges in IPU mentoned below where you can definitely expect a seat:

• Fairfield Institute of management and technology
• JIMS Engineering Management Technical Campus
• Chander Prabhu Jain College Of Higher Studies
• Delhi Metropolitan Education society
• BLS Institute of Technology Management
• Delhi Institute of Rural Development
• Sri Krishna College of Education

However these are predictions, there can be slight variations in the actual allotment.

Of the options mentioned above it is suggested to go for VIPS IP University  particularly for BA LLB over the other two.

No doubt all the three options are reputed institutions but VIPS is better of all. Firstly it is affiliated to GGSIP University which is the state university of Delhi, secondly its central location in delhi, affordable fees structure, infrastructurally develpoed campus, student friendly environment, highly professional and qulaified faculty and not the last but good placement and internship opportunities make it a popular choice among law aspirants.

Both Bharatiya vidyapeeth Pune and NMIMS are in name for their management couses. Though other courses offered are good as well but specifically for law if you have a choice then VIPS should be on top of the three.

At the orientation program, they'll introduce you to the dean and some of the teachers. Seniors will narrate their experience of the college and you will asked your personal details so that they can contact you for informing when the classes will happen. After the first day, classes are fixed. It is not compulsory to attend it, but it is advisable to attend it.

NMIMS Hyderabad is a college which has come up in the real sense in the past few years. The college has no high-end placements but delivers good jobs at placements with the help of the students in the placement committee. The college infrastructure includes amazing classrooms, an open mess, large meeting rooms, discussion rooms, language rooms and an amazing library. The college library is amazing because of the variety of books offered and the access to only NMIMS Students for reading. Each and every club in the college works towards achieving excellence. The faculty at the college are selected from the top most universities and come and teach here. They provide excellent real-time experience to the students. The mess in the college gives amazing food with quality so that the students feel at home. The mess is student driven and this helps the students to officially decide what they want to eat and they most of the times get what they want.The college hostel is close by and they follow strict guidelines about the time. After 11.30pm the students have to take permission if they want to go out. All in all the college is amazing and good exposure is given to the students.

Hi Candidate! According to me Vivekananda institute is better than NMIMS. The facilities of faculties, infrastructure ,culture, academics, all things are well and good in comparison with NMIMS. And in case of placements also Vivekananda is better from NMIMS.

So I prefer you to choose Vivekananda rather than NMIMS.
