Infrastructure is not that bad but it's not enough for NIT.We don't have separate buildings for different departments all in one main building. There are insufficient hostal rooms for all the students we have only 5 boys hostel in which 4 are for 1st yrs each having capacity of 100 -150 members (2 bed,3 bed sharing) and a combined 6floors hostal it's for all the 2 to 4th year students most of the people stay out side the campus in pgs and there are few 3girls hostals I think and but now there is a new girls hostel is being constructed and they are extending the main building too so maybe it'll help to improve infrastructure of the college in other cases we have a small gym and a football ground a cricket ground basket ball court vollyball court and a sports complex which includes indoor tennis court a dispensary there are more faculty building actually then hostals and etc..
A real gem of a university located in the centre of the city. Has decent infrastructure and the learning equipments and machinery are all present for any field. A great faculty for Mining and as I've heard from other batches, this quality is common in other core/non-core branches. The placement system needs some work as the university suffers from low on campus placements.
