In NIT Raipur the highest package for mechanical was INR 32 LPA and the average CTC was 8 LPA.

The hostels are pretty good in Nit Raipur , but the problem is that the number of hostels are very less, the facilities offered by the hostel are very good, and the fees is also very less, in order to get a hostel , the student has to score well in the semester exams. However , you can opt for a private hostel near by , it will cost around Rs7000,  some of the good pgs are

NIT Raipur:

• 70 to 80 % student get placed.
• Highest package is around 15 to 19 lpa.
• Average package is around 5 to 6 lpa.

Mit Manipal:

• Around 70% placement.
• Average package around 3 to 5 lpa.
• Highest package around 18 to 24 lpa.
• Good infrastructure.

DTU IT is the best option present with you at the moment its not that all other college you mentioned are not at par with dtu but you told that you want to start a startup so delhi is the best place to do so as it is full of resources also dtu it placements are great so you will have a backup option as well. Also delhi exposure for startups is great in its initial years so dtu is the best option for you.

Most probably your reporting would be in the first week of January but it is subjected to the covid condition.

In NIT Rourkela mining engineering what the mechanical engineering course of study is better in all aspects. Like placement faculties and libraries in laboratories mechanical branches in NIT Rourkela is better than all the other branches. In second position in NIT Rourkela is a computer science engineering do the faculties and the education is not so good. The research facilities around so good in NIT Rourkela regarding computer science engineering and Mechanical engineering also.

In NIT Raipur civil engineering infrastructure is better than any other NIT what the placement is not so helpful in this branch of study.

So  it is better for you the choice of mechanical engineering branch at Rourkela NIT.

The two institutes you have mentioned are one of the top engineering and preferred colleges in India. So if you wish to go for any of the two then you have to choose on the basis of the course of your preference. Now chemical Engineering and Civil Engineering both have very good scopes. Now if we see the placements of NIT Rourkella Chemical Engineering, then undoutedly it have a better placement rate compared to that of the NIT Raipur Civil Engineering. Both the colleges are good in terms of placement, infrastructure, faculty ,etc. I would suggest you prefer branch to college . Computer Science is the most preferred branch and there is a huge demand of Software Engineers. The highest package offered at IIIT Jabalpur is 36.6 LPA for CSE graduates. Ece is also a good branch .Highest package offered at Nit Raipur for ECE graduates is 19 LPA. So in terms of placement , IIIT Jababpur (Cse)is better than Nit Raipur(Ece).
