The placements will be conducted for every branch but the scope for this branches are little less. But also in some years based on the requirement there will be  demand for these branches.My suggestion is to select the branch that you are really interested to study and willing to know in depth then you will definently find a scope in future. Choose the branch you are interested and the best college too , you will rock in it for sure.

The admission procedure of NIT Trichy has not been released yet. The documents required for admission will be mentioned in notice of NIT Trichy and in JoSAA BUSINESS RULES ( yet to be released ). So there is nothing need to worry about. If there is no mention regarding domicile certificate, that means there is no need of it.

Congratulation for your JEE rank. According to previous year cutoffs and trends the closing rank of last round for Production Engineering Branch in NIT Trichy for females is around 3800 to 3935 for OTHER STATE quota and around 7841 to 9461 for HOME STATE.

So if you are from state other than Tamilnadu then it would be difficult for you to get Production Engineering Branch in NIT Trichy but the same would be so easy if you belong to state Tamilnadu.

While in Special Counselling your chances will be depends on if there is any seat left but if your luck get better than you have full chance to get into  Production Engineering Branch in NIT Trichy.

Yes dear, according to the previous year cutoff you have chances of getting CSE in NIT Trichy, but the cutoff keep changing every year as they depend upon a lot of factors like total number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of the exam etc so we can't gaurentee you a seat,but,yes you have fair chances of getting a seat.

It is difficult to predict the marks as cut off changes every year. Here is the cut off in 2019 for NIT, Trichy under other state quota

• Chemical: 4343
• Civil: 3868
• CSE: 357
• ECE: 967
• Mechanical: 2178
• MME: 6867
• EEE: 1518
• Production: 7162
• ICE: 5227

This was the cut off rank in 2019 round 7. You need to score minimum 110-150 marks depending on the branch to have decent chances of getting seat. Cut off changes every year depending on number of candidates appeared, difficulty of exam and number of seats available etc.
