Hi, since you got 150 marks in JEE Mains but sorry to say this is not enough to not get in CSE branch in NIT Trichy as well as your marks are even not enough which can make you to take admission in NIT Trichy. According to your category, rank and previous year cot off their is very less possibilities to get nit tirchy. But trend is based on privious year and you know that trend is changing every year and this year due to pandemic the chances are increase so you have to go for the counseling till the last round.

It is difficult to tell you with 100% surety about that you will get a seat in nit trichy or not. As the cutoff varies every year with many factors like number of student applied, category, the number of seat available, difficulty level of exam etc.

However with previous years cutoff you can have an idea that you can get a seat or not.

The previous years cutoff at nit trichy for cse were as follow -

With this much rank, your chances of nit trichy is very good.
You can easily get any seat in nit trichy of any branch except the cse Branch. If you want cse branch in nit trichy then it will be somewhat difficult for you as seeing previous years cutoffs trend for nit trichy.

The previous years cutoff rank for nit trichy for obc category male candidate belonging to other state was :- 357

But of you are a female obc candidate then you can easily get cse branch in nit trichy.

The rank and information Provided by shows that you may not have any chances of getting admission into NIT Trichy due to very high cutoffs the institution provides In JEE Mains examinations.( These are evident from the previous years cutoff trends of JoSAA).Their cutoffs for SC usually hangs between 1500-1700 SC RankList.

However it is advised that you should attend the JoSAA as well as CSAB Counselling.

The admission in all the nits are given on basis of jee mains rank.
If you are a general category student and have secured a hundred rank in in JEE Mains then you can easily get NIT Trichy and you can get any branch of your choice.

With this much rank in JEE Mains you can get any NIT or IIIT, not just only nit trichy. But you must pass the eligibility criteria of NIT to get a seat.

The eligibility criteria is -
You must qualify jee mains ( kf courses with very good ranks), and
If you are a general category student then you must pass your class 12th Board examinations with 75 percent or above.
Or if you are a SC / ST category student then you must pass your class 12th board exams with at least 65 percent.

If you secure a very good rank in jee mains but didn't pass the class 12th with 75% score ( for general) or with 65% score ( for sc / st ) then you will not get any seat in nit trichy and it doesn't matter that from which board you are, you will still be disqualified if you didn't pass any one of the eligibility criterias.
