It is difficult to tell you with 100% surety about that you will get a seat in nit trichy or not. As the cutoff varies every year with many factors like number of student applied, category, the number of seat available, difficulty level of exam etc.

However with previous years cutoff you can have an idea that you can get a seat or not.

The previous years cutoff at nit trichy for cse were as follow -

General home state - 5325

General other state -  1373

Obc home state - 2165

Obc other state - 357

You can easily get any seat in nit trichy of any branch except the cse Branch. If you want cse branch in nit trichy then it will be somewhat difficult for you as seeing previous years cutoffs trend for nit trichy.

But of you are a female obc candidate then you can easily get cse branch in nit trichy.

The rank and information Provided by shows that you may not have any chances of getting admission into NIT Trichy due to very high cutoffs the institution provides In JEE Mains examinations.( These are evident from the previous years cutoff trends of JoSAA).Their cutoffs for SC usually hangs between 1500-1700 SC RankList.

However it is advised that you should attend the JoSAA as well as CSAB Counselling.

The admission in all the nits are given on basis of jee mains rank.
If you are a general category student and have secured a hundred rank in in JEE Mains then you can easily get NIT Trichy and you can get any branch of your choice.

With this much rank in JEE Mains you can get any NIT or IIIT, not just only nit trichy. But you must pass the eligibility criteria of NIT to get a seat.

The eligibility criteria is -
You must qualify jee mains ( kf courses with very good ranks), and
If you are a general category student then you must pass your class 12th Board examinations with 75 percent or above.
Or if you are a SC / ST category student then you must pass your class 12th board exams with at least 65 percent.

If you secure a very good rank in jee mains but didn't pass the class 12th with 75% score ( for general) or with 65% score ( for sc / st ) then you will not get any seat in nit trichy and it doesn't matter that from which board you are, you will still be disqualified if you didn't pass any one of the eligibility criterias.

See to get admission in NITs including NIT Tiruchirapalli you have to meet certain eligibility criteria apart from qualifying JEE Main Examination. And for NIT Trichy you will have to get really good rank as mentioned. Usually the basic eligibility criteria required for admission in NIT Trichy via JoSAA counselling is as under:

• A candidate needs to obtain at least 75 or more aggregate percentage of marks in class 12 board examination
• Or he/she should be in the top 20 percentile list in his/her respective board.

Though for this year this eligibility requirement has been scrapped. Let us see what happens next year. But if the above eligibility criteria are compulsory to meet then you will not be allowed to take admission unless you are in the top 20 percentile list ( which if you are from CBSE is not possible on 63 percentage).

With this much common rank, you can not get any nit or iiit.
Now talking about nit trichy, then nit trichy is one of the top most nit in India.
If you belong to home state then also you can not get nit trichy in any condition.
For general category home state candidates the highest closing rank was 33146 for male candidates
and 42637 for female candidate in production engineering branch.

So you cannot get nit trichy. Better you try at some other state colleges or some private institutions.

According to the community rank you have mentioned in the question you cannot get NIT Trichy even any of the NITs as per previous year's cut-offs but I would suggest you to sit for some state counselling because in some of the state government colleges you can get admission on such ranks.

Both the institutions are very on top rankings. If you have made your mind with cse then go for it, because cse branch is one of the demanding branch in India as well as in foreign countries.

Also some of the trending branches in field of engineering are aerospace engineering, aeronautical engineering, chemical engineering, biotechnology, electronics and communication engineering, automobile engineering.

Nowadays, aerospace engineering is in top demand followed by aeronautical engineering.
