Hi.

Since you have been allotted college and since you have already paid the fees it means that you were willing to participate in Round 2 and have already submitted Document for verification. Now this is a SERIOUS SITUATION because the official documents clearly states that any candidate who has been allotted a seat in CSAB Round 2 and does not joins the allocated institute will not be given the refund.

To quote the official information letter:

"

After CSAB Special Round-II,

a) If a candidate is allotted a fresh seat and does not join the allotted institute

OR

b) If a candidate is not allotted a fresh seat but RETAINS his/her earlier allotted seat [either from JoSAA or CSAB Special Round-I] and does not join the earlier allotted institute Then in both the above cases, the Participation Fee and/or Seat Acceptance Fee (if paid) will not be refunded. Fee paid by such candidates will be transferred to the Allotted Institute (After deducting the CSAB processing Charges of Rs. 4000/-).

"

Now, since being a counselling procedure there is nothing a student can do much at this point. You can try to contact the CSAB Officials or writing an equivalent letter to them.

However, I would also urge you to talk to your parents regarding this, since you choose to accept the seat in CSAB Second Round and whatever the fees has been paid will be adjusted in 1st semester fees of the college. NIT Warangal is one of the top NITs in India.

Be Patient and Have Faith.

If you further have a specific query, please feel free to comment.

Best of Luck.

going by last few years' data , you must aim to secure a CRL within 800 to 850 which is almost equivalent to 99.8 percentile. NIT Warangal comes under top 5 NITs so the cutoffs are usually higher than any other NIT. For Electronics and Communications, any rank within 700 can help you to get seat in NIT Warangal as you're from Andhra Pradesh. For Mechanical Branch, last year the closing rank for EWS was 1358 which is almost equivalent to 99.7 percentile while for Civil Engineering it was around 3751 I.e. around 99.6 percentile in Jee Main. But keep in mind that these are based on last year's data and this year the cutoffs can change.
You can check the cutoffs of previous years here http://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-cutoff-for-nit-warangal#Previous-Years-JEE-Main-Cutoff-for-NIT-Warangal

You haven't mentioned if this is your home state quota or not. So going by last few years' data , you must aim to secure a CRL within 400 to 500. For other state quota, the cutoffs are even higher. A common rank within 300 is required to get Computer Science in NIT Warangal. NIT Warangal comes under top 5 NITs so the cutoffs are usually higher than any other NIT. For Electronics and Communications, any rank within 900 can help you to get seat in NIT Warangal if this is your home state. For Mechanical Branch, last year the closing rank for EWS was 1506 while for Civil Engineering it was around 2423. Dear aspirant,

According to your question and taking into consideration that you want to know how much you need to score out of 300.

Every year the score changes as the quality of students which appear in every shift is different.

But as per my calculations, you should score a minimum of 230-250 for nit Warangal ,surathkal or other parallel colleges.

Dear student,
If you want to give priority to college then nit Warangal would be a better choice than nit raipur. But if you wish to prefer branch over college then you can choose nit jaipur mechanical rather than nit warangal chemistry. But as you mentioned that you would like to prefer college over branch then choose nit warangal. It has better ranking, infrastructure, faculty, etc. as compared to nit jaipur.

Hello,

Hope you are doing good.

Coming to your question, Both the colleges are really good.

Below I have given a comparison of the placement statistics in both the colleges so that it may be helpful for you to choose the college best for you:

10.58

NIT, Warangal

So as you can see both the colleges hold really similar and good placement records. You may also consider other factors like hostel facilities, Distance from your hometown, etc before making the choice.

Good Luck

Hello
There were 7,256 seats.
Over the last two years, it has been known that the nit's have successfully accommodated 7,256 seats to accommodate the ews quotes students. Out of all the 31 nit's , a few of them introduced the quota seats in their undergraduate programmes last year.

it's all on credit and eligibility to avail the seat.

All the best

Hello aspirant, hope you are doing good.

So, firstly congratulations for your outstanding rank in JEE Mains, it's not at all easy and I'm sure you did your best, so kudos to you for that. Now, with your rank, even if you cannot get a seat directly, you have definitely good chances of getting a seat through CSAB round, because your  rank is very near to the cutoff rank. Now, cutoffs of CSAB are not really easy to predict because they totally depend on the availability of vacant seats ,so if there are  enough vacant seats, you can surely get a chance.

Hope this helps you. Good Luck !!

Dear student,

As you have secured 200000 crl rank in jee mains from st category, then there is no chance that you can get nit warangal.
Even if you belong fron home state quota, then also you cannot get any seat in nit Warangal as per seeing last year cutoff trends.

Last year the highest cutoff closing rank in csab counseling for nit Warangal for st category students from home state quota, on the basis of their crl ranks was - 160959 (for biotechnology from gender neutral gender category ) and 98466 ( for biotechnology from female gender category ).

So, there is no chance that you can get nit warangal even in csab counseling.
