Hii...
First of all congratulation to get NIT Waranga for MCM this is one of the top NIT colleges for MCA.
Chances are there to get NIT Surathkal in 3rd counselling but it is not sure to get as it depend upon number of candidates apply there and seat availability.
All the best!!
Hello,
Since your score is low it is very difficult for you to get admission into this nit based on previous years cutoff. I am providing you a link for last year cutoff so that you will get an idea about it.

Hope this will help you.
Yes your percentile seems quite good but I would like to ask why are you so persistent on getting NIT Warangal as you can get better branches at so many of the other NITs. Anyways that is your personal choice and NIT Warangal is one of the best institutes in India and you will surely get a seat there.
Well you just have to continue with furthur rounds of counselling if you believe that your seat can get upgraded. Don't worry until and unless you get a seat which you have filled at a higher priority, your present seat will remain yours as long as you follow all the procedures.
Well yes if you have completed your bachelor's degree in BSc then you are certainly eligible for appearing in the NIMCET exam.
Once you qualify this exam then you can get admission in one of the NITs offering MCA programs and NIT Warangal is one of them but its cutoff is quite high.
Hello Atmakuri,
I am very sorry to inform you that with your 45k OBC-NCL rank and even with female quota, you cannot grab a seat in NIT Warangal. NIT W is one of the finest institutes of India and thus have a very huge demand among aspirants. Its closing rank is very low and the branch of BioTech had the highest closing rank of 8k last year. As this year has seen some rise in closing rank even in the first round, you can expect a further rise in closing ranks in later rounds. But it is not possible that closing rank would even go even near to your rank of 45k. You might get some of the Tier-3 GFTIs with this rank but definitely not NIT Warangal.
I would highly recommend you to look for other options and different state-sponsored colleges for admission. All the best for your future.
Thank You
Hello,
As you may already know, the JEE Mains has vastly changed the ranking this year. It has been very different from the rankings of the previous year and thus the prediction of counselling is also very difficult. I would like to tell you the lowest any branch closed for AP student was BioTechnology which closed around 10k OBC-NCL rank. This year, first round closing rank has fallen further low with closing around 8k for biotech. Thus you can expect the closing rank to fall further in the next few rounds of JoSAA. I have provided you the statistics and you are in a better position to judge your chances. All the best for your career.
Thank You
Hi KVS Rao,
I can provide you the last round cutoff ranks of NIT Warangal from 2016, 2017 and 2018 for OBC-NCL category candidates, you can get an idea.
In 2016, after the last round-
Closing Rank (CSE)- 392 (Home State)
Closing Rank (CSE)- 358 (Other State)
In 2017, after the last round-
Closing Rank (CSE)- 1,452 (Home State)
Closing Rank (CSE)- 846 (Other State)
In 2018, after the last round-
Closing Rank (CSE)- 804 (Home State)
Closing Rank (CSE)- 675 (Other State)
If you are not from the Home State, then chances are ZERO and even if you belong to the Home State, then also chances are extremely less.
Hope this helps you.
All the best!!!
Infrastructure is good but elevator isn't working in some buildings... The living spaces are clean but food isn't much good... Some areas need renovation... Infrastructure aging — occasional breakdowns and upkeep needed...
Campus of more than 200 acres with self residential facility along with different blocks allocated to different branches with required equipments and other features. It contains Admin block, Academic block, library and other departments.
Infrastructure is good Campus is very wide and has many shops Only thing I m slightly disappointed is at the quality of drinking water provided Also washrooms are in not in great condition Else okay
