Course Overview

The Priority Banking Online Programme is an initiative by Axis Bank in partnership with NIIT Institute of Finance, Banking and Insurance (IFBI). This immersive course will give you hands-on experience and knowledge of banking products and procedures. You will perform tasks similar to an Axis Bank Priority Banking Relationship Manager (PBRM) for gaining practical insights into the work.

During the Priority Banking online course by NIIT, you will learn about the business environment via business newspapers, bonds, stocks, and best-performing Mutual Funds. You will observe such instruments to prepare a report as well. The 1-year-long programme includes 6 months of residential training.

You will also receive 4.5 months of on-the-job training and 1.5 months of guided paid internship. Throughout the Priority Banking certification programme, you will work on agile projects. The curriculum is divided into four terms of 12 weeks each. In the end, you will receive a Post Graduate Diploma in Banking and Relationship Management from NIIT University (NU).

The Priority Banking programme fee is Rs. 2,25,000 + 18% GST.
There is an option to pay the fee in instalments. For this, you have to pay Rs. 10,000 as admission fee. Then, you can pay the remaining fee in two instalments of Rs. 1,02,5000 (at the time of admission) and Rs. 1,12,500 (start of 2nd term). GST is applicable on all these payments.
You can also avail of a loan through Axis Bank at a 13% interest rate to pay the course fee.

Eligibility Criteria

You can apply for admission in the Priority Banking course if you are a graduate or a final-semester student in any discipline. You must have at least a 50% aggregate score in your graduation. Also, you must not be more than 20 years old at the time of enrolment.

Another prerequisite to join the Priority Banking online training is having decent communication skills and a fair command of English. You can have work experience of 0-3 years. Moreover, your 10th, 12th, and graduation must be in regular modes. You will not be eligible for the course if you have an education gap of more than two years after the 10th class.

You will get the Priority Banking certification after completing the programme.

Step 2 – Tap the ‘Apply Now’ button to open a registration form.

Step 3 – Fill out the form and hit ‘Apply Now’. A pop-up will appear confirming your eligibility.

Step 4 – Tap the ‘Continue to Application’ button to reach an application form.

Step 5 – In the form, enter all the required information carefully. Then, upload the documents, agree to the declaration by clicking the checkbox and hit ‘Submit’.

Step 6 – Tap the ‘Proceed’ button to lock your application. For further steps in the enrolment process of the Priority Banking online programme, you will get a call from NIIT’s programme advisors. You will also have to clear a screening process that involves an employability test. Further, you will need to pass video interviews conducted by NIIT and Axis Bank for final admission.

Application Details

In the registration form for the Priority Banking course, you must provide your name, contact number, city, and email ID. Then, enter your 10th, under graduation, and 12th class percentage, stream, current course, and date of birth.

There is also an application form to fill for getting admission to the Priority Banking training by NIIT. You have to provide your personal and academic info along with some documents like Aadhaar Card and mark sheets. After specifying your gender, you need to enter parent/guardian details including their name, phone number, and occupation.

Under the academic information section of the Priority Banking programme application form, you must enter your work experience, school and college names, streams, and years of passing.
