You shall have to pass the HSC examination (10+2) or any other recognized examinations considered equivalent by the Nirma University, with English as a subject along with  any one of the following subjects:

Accountancy/Business Administration/Economics/Statistics/Mathematics.

So, it is not compulsory.

The admission for BCom hons is based on the percentage of  marks scored in 10+2.The eligibility to apply is to have a minimum of 60% marks in all subjects in 10+2.The cut off scores vary every year.You can't say that getting admission is easy as it depends on a lot of factors.If any two students secure same percentage marks then the marks secured in English will be considered.You can know more details regarding the admission in the official website :

The admission in Nirma University for the course B.Com (//B.Com) (hons) is done based on merit in class 10+2.Candidates must have passed HSC or its equivalent with Accountancy, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, or Mathematics along with English.A minimum of 60% marks must have been scored by the candidate in the qualifying exam.Candidate with higher score in English will be given the priority in case there is a tie between two candidates.

For 92.5 percentile you rank will be around 85k or more. With this rank it is almost impossible to get branches like computer,  Computer Science, Information And Communication Technology And Mechanical Engineering. Your chances of EC,EE also seems not possible. But you will surely get branches like chemical, IC, civil. These will be your options if you get admission through All India Category.

The Entrance is quite easy if you Study well and tough when you didn't. It all depends on your preparation level. If you really can Study with dedication and full concentration, you can clear the exam. Think of the exam as national level exam and prepare accordingly. Study and clear all the basic concepts. Solve question banks and previous Year question papers which will.give you the idea of the questions appearing in the exam.

To be eligible you need at least 50% aggregate in PCM of class 12th. The admissions is based on JEE Main or GUJCET scores.

The cutoff varies every year depending upon many factors like number of students applying for a specific course, difficulty of paper etc.

Last year Cutoff for B.tech Computer Engineering was -

• For GEN Category a rank between  51- 214
• For SEBC Category a rank between 469-877
• For IESM Category a rank between  1241-1300
• For GEN (PH) a rank between 1486-4609
• For SC Category a rank between  1517-1774
• For ST Category a rank between 12999-34782
• For Other Category (TFWS) a rank between  15-30

Admission in Nirma University for M.Sc. in Biotechnology is offered on the basis of JAM (Joint Admission Test) Examination. There are various other entrance examinations like GATE, JNU CEEB etc. which will help you in fetching admission in this University. The syllabus and centers for different examinations are different, please mention the name of the examination to get the further details.

When it comes to applying for MSC in Microbiology or MSc Biotechnoloogy, candidates should have passed Bachelor's degree from a recognized university under pattern of 10+2+3/4/5  in the fields such as Chemistry, Biochemistry, Botany, Zoology, Microbiology, Life Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Biotechnology, Agricultural, Veterinary, Fishery & Dairy Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine (MBBS), BDS, Bioinformatics, Genetics, Medical Laboratory Technology Sciences, BHMS, BAMS, B Tech/BE Biotechnology, Physiotherapy or Bio-medical Engineering with minimum 50% aggregate inclusive of all the semester / years. Those in final year too can apply for this exam, but it's on a provisional basis until they show the proof of their qualifying examination.

So, if you've pursued graduation in any of the fields mentioned above, you can go for MSc Microbiology/Biotechnology from Nirma University.

I understand your concern but dear student Nirma University only offers BBA+MBA course which is a integrated course in management and buisness application. So yes if you will opt for this course then it will be mandatory for you to do both BBA and MBA as a part of the course. This university do not offer BBA and MBA as different courses .
