OUTR (CET) Bhubaneswar Facilities
The campus of the college has modern and upgraded infrastructure. College of Engineering and Technology Bhubaneswar facilities provide an amiable environment to the students. The OUTR Bhubaneswar infrastructure has separate hostels for girls and boys students. Entire campus of the college has wifi connectivity.

College of Engineering and Technology Bhubaneswar has two boys hostels - Ramanujan Hall of Residence (RHR), and APJ Abdul Kalam Hall of Residence (APJAHR). The combined accommodation capacity is around 550 students. All the basic facilities are available at hostes.
- Girls Hostel
For the accommodation of students, the college has two girls hostels at the campus. It can accommodate around 550 students. The rooms are spacious, ventilated and offer a comfortable stay to the students.

College Infrastructure
The campus is spread across 100 acres of land with multiple departmental blocks and fully equipped labs.There is 24x7 Wi-Fi connectivity in the campus,the hostels are decent and the mess food is hygenic.
Enjoyed college life at OUTR.
College Infrastructure
The college is equipped with advanced machines and laboratories but the buildings aren't maintained. It looks like old and plaster coming out. The main gate of the college is missing since 3 years now. Sports like cricket, football, basketball, badminton and kho kho are encouraged. Campus is surrounded with high speed WiFi..The academic blocs are clean but the hostels aren't. Food is unhygienic.
My college was quite good for engineering placements.

College Infrastructure
The university is improving its infrastructure to a great extent recently. The university has Wi-Fi throughout the campus, the food in the canteen and the respective hostels are also hygienic. Labs are also well equipped.

For core branches (like Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, etc.), VSSUT Burla is a better choice than OUTR (CET) Bhubaneswar.
Here’s why:

Strong core departments : VSSUT has a long history and strong reputation in core engineering.

Better GATE environment : Many students from VSSUT prepare for GATE, so you will get a good peer group and study environment.

Good faculty and alumni : Especially in core branches, VSSUT has better faculty support and alumni network in PSU and higher studies.
So, if your focus is on core branches and GATE preparation, VSSUT Burla is the better option.
