Osmania University is AICTE approved and is one of the top engineering colleges in Hyderabad.

It provides good placement to their UG students. Almost 90 percent of the students get placed in top companies such as Microsoft, Service Now, Qualcomm, EA Sports, JP Morgan. The highest salary package offered is 42 LPA, and it was offered by Microsoft. The lowest salary package offered is 3.5 LPA, and it was offered by Capgemini. The average salary package offered is 5-6 LPA.

About 40% of the students got an internship in companies like JPMC, Oracle and Samsung. It is a good college for CSE and IT students. Overall it provides good career opportunities to the CSE and IT aspirants.

Computer Science in OU is a good choice to have. The university has decent laboratories including modern laboratory equipment. The staff of the laboratory is very interactive and engaged in realistic subjects with detailed knowledge on doubts. They are both used and managed well. The living areas are clean and even the food is hygienic.Prospects for placements are really strong. Multinational businesses come to our college every year to have professional employment, based on pure interview based employment prospects, and a drive test would be taken. As per the research, the maximum pay given is 25 lakhs.

Coming to your next question that is difference between cse and IT. The key distinction between these two disciplines is that IT is concerned with the development of computational technology to real-life systems, while Computer Science is concerned with the science that makes these applications simpler. To make it short  and concise cse implies using Programming languages for developing applications and software.Whereas IT (Information Technology) is literally the specification of the appropriate software or hardware.

Mechanical engineering at Osmania engineering University is very good.
The professors at the University are all PhD holders and most of them are IIT graduates. They are very knowledgeable. The teaching curriculum is industry oriented and provides the required industry exposure to students.
The average package offered to mechanical engineering graduates is as around average of 5 lpa. The highest package offered was Rs 9 lpa.

Companies such as Maruti, Bhagyanagar gas limited, ITC, Wipro, Accenture, FMC visit the campus for recruitment.

Congratulations you have secured a good rank . according to previous years cutoffs you have very less chance to get seat in jntuh and ou .the closing ranks for oc boy is about 1600 .if you have any reservation then you may have to get cse in ou or jntuh .you may get another branches like mechanical chemical etc ..
