Both branches are different if you consider their working areas electrical engineering deals with power generation, electronics, telecommunications, etc to get job in power plants, manufacturing, IT where as vlsi deals with designing chips.

Nit surat electrical is the most preferable branch among students because of its faculty members placement

Both are the good colleges difference is only That RVCE is private college & NIT Surat is Government you can choose as per your convenience.
