Hello Rimpi,

Tezpur University has released its provisional admission list for btech admission under N.E. quota.

The couselling will be held on 17th of July' 2019 from 9.30 am onwards. After first round of admission on 17thJuly, 2019, vacancy position of seats will be notified on the Tezpur University website. Candidates are requested to visit the website before proceeding for chance admission on 19.07.2019. Admission on 19th July,2019 will be subjected to availability of seats after admission on 17th July, 2019.

The seats available for different categories under NE reserve seats are given below:

Gen 83, OBC(NCL)-44, EWS-27, SC-27, ST-12, PWD-10, TOTAL-203

(10% additional seats may be filled up to avoid second round of counselling)

Please carry all the required documents at the time of couselling. Failing to provide any documents will lead to cancellation of seat.

Hello Sonali,

The entrance test for B.A in English is a objective cum subjective test. You will be asked very basic questions on grammer and punctuations. Comprehension is a very important aspect from the entrance examination point of view. There wont be any question testing your general knowledge. You might be given to analyze a piece of literature critically. Overall, they will test your grip over the language rather than literature.

Hi Ankur, greetings. JEE Mains is the preliminary exam to obtain seat in NITs, IIITs and CFTIs across India. Your rank of 42124 in SC category is unlikely to get you a seat in Tezpur University. But please don't lose hope, do sit in the spot round of the Josaa counselling, you might get a seat. The home state advantage will surely help you. Thank you.
