Hello seema, in eligibility criteria for bad mathematics it has mentioned only about clearing 12 th from recognized board with Maths as a compulsory subject.  Minim in m marks in maths and aggregate minimum marks are not mentioned. So you can apply for entrance exam of Tezpur university.

It won't be easy to get TEZPUR UNIVERSITY with your mentioned rank as it is the 3rd most preferred choice of students around Assam. Still if spot round is held like last year then you may get a seat in that college.

Seeing previous year Jee mains cuttoff for tezpur university,you have less chance of getting seats.You need 88+ percentile under general category.84 is low percentile for tezpur university.Rank should be under 1.5lakhs.For sureity wait till concerned authority announce cuttoff.

your rank in jee mains is 42124 ,which is gud but not enough to get admission in a good college but tezpur university is a private university or central university located in tejpur,it conducts its own entrance exam, so it is totally dependent on your entrance exam in this university,

every year cutoff changes according to nujmber of candidates participating, seat matrix etc.  you have fair chances for tezpur university. but you may not get computer science, electronics and comunication etc. but you opted for electrical , mechanical, civil engineering.
