NCU is the prime institute where you can grab a lot of practical knowledge, which is not even possible in theory lectures. A lot of opportunities are here. Being from mechanical Branch, I have learned a lot and successfully implemented it on my projects. Loved this place

The NCU also provides it's students with nurturing environment for lifelong learning skills. There are a number of electives to choose from as soon as a student reaches the 3rd semester. Python PHP Could Computing Cybersecurity Network Security Big data & Hadoop Analytics in R etc. Students as per their interest could opt for any of these. In my case, I opted for Python, PHP, NS, and Analytics in R (semester 3/4/5) Bits, ipu, jee mains. Seeing the scope of computer science in the future,i opted for this course over others. The SPA is very effective in getting the placements done. since last % years the placements have been 90% plus. approximately 150+ companies visit our campus every year. the highest package in 6.2 lakhs which is offered by Delloite. the average package in 3 lakhs. Yes, our college provides campus placements with various companies like Google, Microsoft, HCl, Sony, TCS, Deloitte, Maruti etc. We have had a placement record of 90% plus, since a decade. The packages range from 3 lac to 8 lac depending on each students's capabilities. ECE faculty at NCU is really good. It can compete with any other good college. If the student is highly motivated, ECE faculty helps that student to achieve his/her dreams diligently.

NCU- Excellent placements, learned faculty and disciplined

Batch of 2020 | B.Tech Electronics and Communication Engineering
At the NorthCap University one will see a disciplined campus with all the required amenities, a resourceful library, respected staff and honored senior faculty. the infrastructure in whole is really good there are more than 180 companies visiting the campus for placement drives. even the internships are taken care of and are fair as they take place as a complete proper placement drive. the faculty here is helpful and professionally bridges the student teacher gap. we are never hesitant to visit any of our faculty even the HODs. in whole NCU is a great experience, it bridges the industry college gap very efficiently and the student passes out from the university after becoming a professional.

Provided me ample opportunities to prove myself

Batch of 2022 | B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering
Our college has one of the best gardens in NCR. Whole college is air conditioned and WiFi enabled for every student. There hasn't been any case of ragging till date. The faculty at our college is knowledgeable and experienced (ex - our maths teacher has 28yrs of experience). They are helpful and also mark impartially in exams. The marking system is very transparent and results are always on time. The placement stats are very attractive with the likes of Deloitte, E&Y, Gemini Solutions, Fidelity, etc. coming for placements. The least package offered is 3.5 LPA. In latest batch, 94% eligible students got placed. There are many clubs and societies (ex - IEEE, OSA, ASQ, Spic Macay, Encore, etc.) who keep on organizing various workshops and events throughout the semester to keep us engaged. The college also hosts guest lectures frequently. All in all, one may find it a little low in terms of size, but the kind of exposure and opportunities which one can get here is unparalleled to any other.

NCU : The Education hub

Batch of 2018 | B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering
Placements for our senior batch were quite great. A number of renowned companies visited the campus. Our seniors were enthusiastic to give their best in placements. Approximately, 60% to 70% of the students got placed. The average package offered was around 3 LPA to 4 lacs per annum, and the highest being nearly 10 lacs per annum. You need to prove your mettle to grab that one opportunity. The infrastructure of college is quite great and meets the expectations of students. Classrooms are well facilitated with basic necessities and are quite student-friendly. A number of sports facilities like cricket, football, etc., Labs are well-equipped and have all the necessary tools for a better learning experience. In my opinion, the faculty members are knowledgeable in their field. They try their best to give 100% to the students. The student-teacher relationship is quite great, and this indeed helps in having a better understanding on both sides. The teachers not only believe in gaining knowledge from books but also an emphasis on the practical application of the theory learned.

The Northcap University formerly known as ITM Gurgoan is the best university in haryana ncr. Not only the engineering department is good, the management and the law departments are also good. The infrastructure is perfect in all aspects .. The placement ratio is increasing year by year. The faculty is very helpful. The Fests are amazing .. Only the area which needs improvement is the industry exposure ..They offer very fewer opportunities to visit industries..Overall the college is excellent.

The fees here is really expensive and if you opt for a hostel you really need to spend a lot of money. The placement here is not that good as compared to fees they ask for , The faculty here though is qualified and take care of students doubts and clear them completely before getting them through placement. Placement is okay here.

The Course is very good as the colege offers a large no of electives for students so that students can learn subjects in all fields and hence, it makes a student flexible for studying and so, faculty as well is so cooperating with students. Also college authorities organises several industrial trips and seminars for students so that the students acquire and gain knowledge of outer environment as well.

Right now the campus has two canteens, a seminar hall, an auditorium and a Sports Room. A variety of courses are offered under the guidance of well trained teachers. I think there should be an increase in INDUSTRIAL SEMINARS, VISITS and PRE-PLACEMENTS. The fees of this university is very affordable in comparison to other private institute. A variety of students from all over the world are enrolled in various courses here.

Batch of 2018
I am studing in NCU from 2014. Honestly NCU was not my first choice, i was waiting for my marks if JEE mains. When I entered NCU,the first word i spoke was "WOW". Our college is so tech savvy, starting from our daily class attendance to time table, everything is online. Even if I Have to exit my hostel or enter my Mess, i have to use finger print scanners and pass RFID (Radio Frequency Identity) turnstile gates. We dont carry cash, our ID card is like 2-in-1 debit card for transactions inside the university. NCU has best lab facilities with dedicated lab for each subject. X Each stream has dedicated laboratory division with fully functional world class equipment, and advanced research laboratories. The amount of exposure I have received, I'm sure none of the engineering graduates anywhere else have received . I have participated in 3-4 international competitions and can handle a crowd of 2000 on stage. Students are trained in Aptitude, Reasoning, free preparation for Govt Exams, Soft Skills and language training, Interviewing skills right from the 2nd year, continuously for 1-1.5 years till they get job.Almost 98% of students who have above 6 CGPA in engineering get placed in any reputed company. On an average, 200 MNCs visit our campus every year, placing around 2000 students every year. Packages vary from 3.33lpa to 30 lpa based on the students' skill. You will enjoy each and every minute of your stay at NCU. Students from each and every corner of our great country and students from African countries will teach you thousand things about their culture, food, language etc. So in a whole, it is a good college for student opting for Bachelors program

College life was really amazing and unforgettable. The faculty was also very cooperative. Nice infrastructure. But what I not liked was placement-really bad. Placement cell not so cooperative. Sports facilities were also very amazing.Hostels were average. I always remember the tennis court which I loved the most as I would go there in my leisure time. Playing tennis became my hobby in college itself. Overall it was nice experience except placements. I wanna spend another 4 years in the college..

Center For Leadership, MBA

Posted on 29 Dec' 16 by Deepan Jashu
Batch of 2017
It is a great opportunity for me to be a part of founding batch of Center for leadership. Faculties are excellent. Everything in this course is very much unique to me. I can bet any other one year MBA course in India does not give so much importance to personal growth, communication and writing skill, which will be fruitful for us near future. Another important part is the Mentorship. The founding team has very strong industry experience which helps students to learn concepts in accordance with Industry realities..I would definitely recommend this course to everyone who aspires for Leadership positions. Getting job in any company is not important but the most important thing is getting job in your desired field. I loved being part of Center for leadership course and it is my responsibility to establish a bench mark for the next Batch.

I love this programme! The one thing that really appeals me about this Executive MBA is the mentorship programme which involves a 1 to 1 mentorship, the programme team ensures that you get the best-suited mentor for you. The faculty is experienced, and it is almost at par with any B-School in India, you get Wharton certification, and the fabulous programme team which supports you almost 24x7; all of this put together made this programme a complete power pack learning experience.

Phenomenal being part of Founding Batch @CenterforLeadership

Posted on 28 Dec' 16 by Kriti Jain
Batch of 2017
At Center for Leadership, we have access to some of the best faculties from Wharton, IIMs like Tushar Jaruhar, Ramnath Narayanswamy. NCU`s infrastructure is quite good along with excellent sports facilities. Batch size is small which is advantageous. Peer group is diversified and high in intellectual which makes the learning environment stimulating. There is a separate track for Communication and Leadership skills- one of the program`s unique features. Things which can enhance the overall experience are gender ratio and food facility at hostel. Mentorship program is another feature of this course which is apt and very helpful. One should opt for this course if he/she is looking fo high quality education in India.

NCU is a good university, with remarkable infrastructure and good quality labs, workshops, canteen etc. Nowhere inside the campus you'll find anything dirty. Cleanliness is top notch. Talking about the academics, one has to be self disciplined and loyal to his own self about it. Teachers are good and helpful. But there a lot of others things going on simultaneously with classes like cultural events, fests, clubs etc which can distract you from studies. DO involve in these, while taking your classes too. The library is also very good and contains different titles with adequete copies. About placements, i would say they are good for Cs and IT streams and average for others. I would definitely recommend the college to everyone.

The college campus is small but its fully disciplined . By hook or by crook you have to abide by their norms. If you don't then a strict action is taken . No ragging , no politics nothing . The negative is college is not having a hostel on campus and for boys only one hostel with 35 settings .

Faculty at NCU is one of the best. They are highly qualified and they work hard to leave no stone unturned. The college infra is a bit small but still is good enough to relax and has all the sports facilities. The industry exposure is not that much as the internships are a bit difficult to get on campus. But yes final placements are good here. Some of the recruiters are Newgen, Deloitte, TCS and much more.

Positive plus Negative Points

tanvi aggarwal
Posted on 12 Sep' 16 by tanvi aggarwal
Batch of 2019 | B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering
The college is as awesome as ever but also has some negative points. According to the point of view of parents, there is a lot discipline but as a student, this discipline is too much. If we are sick or have to go for a leave due to some emergency, there comes the issue of attendance. Every much strict with attendance is good but they don't even consider the genuine reasons. But teachers are very nice if ever miss a class due to some problems they give us extra time for the submission of assignments or projects. Even after the class, they clear the doubts whenever we have any query on the subject. They show an affection and help us a lot in preparation of exams. A number of times we ask the same doubt they don't get irritated and try their best to make us understand that topic by trying different methodology of teaching. As I am in computer science department, our teacher in labs helps to understand the program and help in finding the error and take the pain to read and understand the code of even 500 lines. The college life without friends is very boring. But due to this college have met a number of friends who belongs to very good families and have etiquettes how to talk a girl or how to respect the teachers. Our college is in the residential so it is connected well with the market or in the case of emergency even the hospital is nearby. Even the metro station is not so far and we are provided with the facility of bus till the station. The clubs are there which help to explore one individual. They provide the best of the facility but placements are not as high as the fees of the college. There is a need of asking new companies to participate in the placement drive. But still, I like my college...
