uttarakhand technical university offers b.tech courses on various streams, now coming to lateral entry admission process , you have to apply for uksee exam i.e Uttarakhand State Entrance Examination (UKSEE) is a state level exam which offers various courses such as B.Pharm, Bachelor of Hotel Management (BHMCT), M.C.A, and lateral entry to II year MCA & B.Tech in different private, self-financed and government colleges of Uttarakhand conducts by uttarakhand technical university. follow the below link to know in details,

see most of the cases colleges dont take admission in middle of any course, however if both of the colleges falls under same university , you may apply for migration, however you need to have required percentage of marks and the college which you may opt for admission in second year must have the seat vacancy for admission, I suggest you to directly contact with the college in which you want to get admission for clarity of processing of admission.

UKSEE is a state level entrance exam for aspirants conducted by UTT (Uttarakhand Technical University) Dehradun .There is no Such rule only state students are eligible for E-Counselling but Lateral entry seats will be only for Uttarakhand students .

Hello Abhisek,

Looks like you are very desperate to get into Pantnagar University. The UTU counselling can't be done without the JEE Mains result. So the counselling will start after only after the result declaration. The counselings usually don't start till JEE Advanced results are out.
