As per the released guideline of the institution, the classes for freshers batch which was supposed to be commence from 2nd August has been postponed to 6th September due to uncertain conditions created in this pandemic. Just to be on the same page as you, there is nothing as BITS Dubai, it is actually BITS Pilani, Dubai Campus.

Now as a brand BITS is much superior to VIT in all respect.

BITS is one of the if not "the" best private Engineering College in India.

Here, I am obviously not talking about the Dubai Campus as it is relatively new but the very fact it coming under the umbrella of BITS, give it ample weight.

The Admission is via merit only - all Students have to take the BITSAT Examination. There is no Quota seats for Management or SC/ST/OBC.

VIT on the other hand has many Management quota seats and hence it impacts the Quality of intake.

There are ample number of features which are compared when we declare a college better than the other. However, in this regard, BITS Pilani Dubai Campus is a clear winner in almost all the aspects.

With refernce to your query , I would glad to tell you that VIT vellore is very well-known reputed college and known for its alumi network and BTech placements. I can strongly advise you that you wont regret for VIT after completing 4 years. If you have filled comedk exam then surely give the exam but if you are getting top colleges which comes under comedk then only think to withdraw from VIT otherwise continue with VIT and study hard

All the institutions you have mentioned prefer to take their own engineering entrance exam. They don't accept JEE Mains score. SRM and VIT and private colleges they have their own entrance exam you need to give. It's SRMJEEE and VITEEE. RV College of engineering in Bangalore accepts COMEDK score. The campuses of VIT are different and hence the timings will be different for every campus and every course you are studying there is different with different lab and theory class timings.

A theory class goes for about 50 minutes, and a Lab class lasts 90 minutes. Taking into consideration attendance and other discussion points, the actual teaching goes on for a lesser than that.

As far as timings are concerned, there’s no fixed one in VIT. First class is at 8, and last one is till 7PM (theory) or 7:30PM (Lab).

There is no official announcement of the phase 6 counselling at Vellore Institute of technology. According to the institution, fifth phase of counselling commenced on 24th July to allocate the candidates seats who got rank above 1lac in the entrance examination. So it would not be possible to get an appropriate answer. Moreover there is no change in the allocated branch, campus or category.

The fee structure for the seats under category 1 at Vellore institute of technology is RS 198000 per annum. As per the guidelines of the institution there is no balance fee for the candidates who have been offered a seat under first category and the entire fee needs to be paid by 31st July if seat has been allotted in the fifth phase of counseling.

The institution has earlier announced that the classes for freshers batch 2021 will begin in online mode from 2nd August. In the recent update college has mentioned that due to uncertainty in Covid pandemic and delay in verification of higher secondary scores the class for the Btech courses and orientation program has been postponed to 6th September.
