Hi Aspirant!
According the previosu years records, candidates with rank upto 20k fall under the category -1 and 20k onwards category 2 starts. So, there are chances that you might fall under category 2 or category 3, means the fee will be high than the category -1 students. And the previosu year cutoff trends shows that you might get BioMedical Engineering , Production and Industrial Engg at VIT Vellore and Civil Engineering , Fashion Technology , Electronics and Computer Engineering at VIT Chennai. If you are interested in any of the mentioned branches then you should attend the VIT Counselling, otherwise there is no benefit to attend. You can check out the cutoffs here:

Thankyou!
Hi aspirant,
No, the seat allotment during the VIT counselling is not like that of you have mentioned. If a seat in category 1 remains empty during the earlier phase of counselling, a chance of selecting it would be given next candidate who has a higher VITEEE ranking. So if any seats in lower fee categories are left vacant, it is automatically made available for the grabs of next candidates.
If you have choosen a lower category and it is still vacant till your chance comes, then admissions for the same would be offered to you.
Hope it helps!!
Hi Aspirant,
Hope you are doing great as per the question asked by you yes you will gt refund of fees but it depends upon time if you are leaving early or withdrawing early then you may get less deduction in amount if you are withdrawing very late that is after commencement of classes then you may get more deduction in fees.
Hope you found this answer useful.Stay motivated stay positive.
All the best!
Dear aspirant,
As you have mentioned that you have got 65k rank in viteee 2021 and you want to take up civil engineering in the chennai campus so let me tell you that you have good chances of getting this branch within this rank.
But these things depends on certain conditions as follows-
1-Number of candidates appearing in that examination.
2-Number of vacant seats in the college
3-Previous years cut offs
4-difficulty level of the paper.

Dear aspirant,
In 1st year syllabus of every branch and every student remains same. There is nothing different taught in non core and core branches. Yes maybe 1 or 2 subjects are different but main subjects are same.
Coming to main part of your question,
In maths - You only need to keep in your mind that is diffrential equations, matrices and calculus.
In Physics- Basics taught in 11th and 12th that is electromagnetism and magnetic effects of current.
In chemistry - You don't need anything. You need to just memorize whatever notes you get from college.
Yes, definitely you have fair chances of securing a place among IIMs, having a somewhat good academic record as well as a strong current scorecard at VIT. Just focus on CAT Preparation and target none less than 99 Percentile, being from General Category or perhaps even higher incase youre targeting the Top 6 IIMs. You must even apply for other Management Examinations like XAT, NMAT, SNAP, which too are gateways to some of the Good Management Institutes.
Hi Sreenidhi,
For your VITEEE Rank you have chances of getting B.Tech Computer Science Engineering with Specialization in Data Science in Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore based on previous year's cut-offs you can get them in mostly Category 1. But Cutoffs changes from year to year and depends on many factors like number of students appeared, difficulty level of the exam, number of seats available etc. If this year cut-offs changes and closing rank is less then you you might get B.Tech Computer Science Engineering in Specialization in Data Science in Category 2 may be.
You can go through below given link for more information about VITEEE cut-offs.

Hope this helps you.
Good Luck!!
hi,
see cutoff score changes every year and it depends on certain factors like number of applicants, questions difficulty level, seat matrix, choice of stream etc. however based on previous years cutoff score it is quite difficult to secure computer science engineering at this rank. however data science is an emerging field and it would depends on the number of applicants applied for particularly in data science. however do not loose hope and participate in the counselling process, I suggest to appear in others exam and apply for multiple colleges to get best possible outcome.

Hello,
The cut off for admission to Electronics and Communication in Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore is expected to be in between 10000-15500. SO to have decent chances of getting seat in ECE in VIT, Vellore you should secure a rank under 15500 but your rank is above 33.000 so it is very difficult to get admission in the preferred discipline in VIT, Vellore. But the cut off tends to change every year and the factors that determine the cut off are

Hi Aspirant!
Previous years records of VITEEE shows that the candodates securing rank upto 20k fall under category-1 but they can always sit for category -2 or other rounds until they get the desired seat. But as the category level increases so does the fee, category -1 has lowest fee charges and gets increases with category-2 and so on. Also, CSE is available upto maximum 6000 rank and IT is available upto 9,000 rank(previous years trends). So, there are very low chances that you will be able to get CSE in VIT Vellore even in category-2. You might try for IT. But if you specifically want CSE, I would suggest you to try in other campuses of VIT, where you can get it easily.
