VIT has different categories for admission, with Merit and Availability of Seats. If Admitted through Category 1 or 2, VIT is a much cheaper University than SRM with an excellent Return of Investment, as far as Courses like Engineering are concerned. This is a very unique question. Well to connect to a people you have to reach out to them. So visiting the campus can be a solution but in this scenario its not the best way out. I would say you should search on social media pages of VIT. You will generally get the students of the college following the page. Now in your free time you may search out a student who may be senior studying the Integrated MTech course. This can be a way out for you to reach out to the students of VIT.

VIT has taken admission in remote proctored mode. Now if there is some cheating that happened then it would have been recognized and the steps will be taken against those. So no need to worry about that! But yeah! the competition will increase undoubtedly due to this because there are some genius who can cheat in the mode also. But I think the possibility is less that anyone cheating wouldn't get caught. So I think there will not be any hype due to cheating.

The hostel fee of VIT Vellore for girls and boys hostel varies depending on the type of room you choose. There are single, double , triple , four sharing an dsix sharing bedrooms ech with A/C and non-A/C facilities. The single room costs high than all of these around 1,20,000 INR to 1 lakh depending on the A/C or Non A/C. Later, the cheaper is double sharing then triple sharing and so on and so forth. The cheapest room is six bedded with non A/C with the charges around 44k.

There is no phase 2 for VIT entrance exam. The VIT exam is conducted only once a year. The authorities are conducting VITEEE exam 2021 as a remote-proctored exam from May 28, 29, and 31. The slot 2 exam which was scheduled to be conducted on 29th was conducted today due to technical issues. Candidates will be able to check VITEEE result 2021 from the official website. The candidates will have to submit their application number and date of birth to get their results. After the VITEEE result declaration, qualified candidates will have to participate in the VITEEE counselling.

VIT Vellore offers hostel facilities for both boys and girls. There are single bedded, double bedded, triple sharing, four bedded and six bedded rooms are available. And fee for each type of room is different. Last year's hostel fee is as follows:

• Single Bedded: 11,4748 for A/C; for Non-A/C 74,648 INR
• Double bedded : 87,448 for A/C ; for non A/C 60,148 INR
• Triple bedded: 80,648 for A/C ; for non A/C 53,748 INR
• Four bedded: 70,348 for A/C ; for non A/C 48,448 INR
• Six bedded : 63,548 for A/C ; for non A/C 44,548 INR

And there is separate caution fee of 15,000 INR which is refundable.

The cutoff of VIT VELLORE for CSE branch is around 8000(as closing rank).But it is as per the previous year records.It may be possible that cutoff of 2021 can be changed on the basis of number of students attempted, difficulty level of paper etc.

No official notice has been generated based on the starting of the classes.However SRM VIT is supposed to start the classes from starting of August as per the semester guidelines.Manipal University may start the classes from mid of August or on september.They will soon start the classes once the counselling and the seat allotment process gets over.
