Your son have scored an average rank in the exam, the cut offs of cse are usually very high as it is one the core branch of engineering If you tank about VIT vellore or Chennai the chances of getting CSE with this rank there are almost 0

Since you lie under phase 2 counselling of VITEEE the possibility of getting Chemical engineering in Vellore is somewhat less but yaah you will get the Chemical engineering branch at Chennai campus as well in other campus too.

my vit rank 33000 can i get ece branch

Hello,
At your rank it is too difficult to get admission in ECE branch in VIT VELLORE or CHENNAI campuses.But i can assure you that you can get ECE at VIT ap or BHOPAL campus as both of them are new and the cutoff is expected to be low.

Since your rank is so large through which you can't able to take the CSE branch at Vellore campus but yaah you may get Chemical/Automobile/Bio group in other branches of VIT.

College Infrastructure

Vellore Institute of Technology has a really nice infrastructure with clean classrooms, labs, library and hostels. Wi-Fi is only available for 20 hours as it gets switched off around midnight. Campus is big and nice, but it can get crowded. Hostels are very hygienic as they get cleaned daily.
