Hi dear candidate,
With the rank of 7972 along with BC-D category, your chances of getting admission in VIT AP for free is limited but much better than those with general category. The closing even for your category is lower than yours but you can save yourself by applying by management quota or applying in low competition branches like civil, mechanical, electrical etc.

Good afternoon,VIT Pune officially does not offer any management quota seats. All regular engineering admissions are conducted through the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) based on JEE Main or MH-CET scores.
Multiple sources, including official statements from the institute, confirm that management quota admissions were discontinued around 2019 and reinstated again. As of now, there is no formally recognized management quota
With a JEE Main rank of 33,781, you have a fair chance of getting admission in VIT (especially Vellore or Chennai campuses) for branches like Mechanical, Civil, or Production. CSE or ECE would likely not be available at that rank in the top campuses.
As for RVCE (R.V. College of Engineering), your JEE Main rank is not considered for admission. RVCE admits students mainly through KCET and COMEDK exams. So with just your JEE rank, admission to RVCE isn’t possible.
Dear aspirant,
With your EAPCET rank of 3811 you have a good chance of getting ECE at VIT AP especially if you're aiming for the regular ECE program and not necessarily a specialized ECE branch. VIT AP generally offers ECE in Category 1 and 2, and your rank is likely to fall within those categories. It's better to check the official VIT AP website for specific cutoff information from previous years or you can visit this link attached below for more information.
Thank you

GITAM (Visakhapatnam) and VIT-AP both are excellent universities but ultimately it will be based on your daughter's preferences for specialization, exposure and placements.
GITAM Visakhapatnam (CSE Core):
VIT-AP (CSE with Data Analytics):
If your daughter has clear interest in a career in Data Science/Analytics and doesn't mind a newer campus, she should consider VIT-AP CSE (Data Analytics) whose curriculum seems more future-looking. Otherwise, if she prefers more flexibility and established placements pathways GITAM CSE Core will offer better placement ecosystem.
Vit Ap, Srm Ap, Kl Vijayawada all giving CSE course but little little different, Vit Ap have good campus, Srm Ap doing with foreign tie up and Kl Vijayawada very old and known, but you need see fees, placement, faculty and your comfort also, all three have good setup but Kl Vijayawada more stable, Vit Ap growing fast and Srm Ap still getting strong, but good for startup and global learning
1, Vit Ap have high tech campus and good placement
2, Srm Ap doing new global level thing with tie up
3, Kl Vijayawada have more alumni and strong base
4, Fees in Srm and Vit may high than Kl
5, You need choose depend hostel life, course plan and budget
good afternoon ,the top Engineering Colleges in Pune ( after COEP, MIT-WPU, VIT) are :
PICT (Pune Institute of Computer Technology) Known for CSE & IT, excellent coding culture, strong alumni network
AIT (Army Institute of Technology) Great placements, especially in CS/IT; only for wards of army personnel
CCOEW (Cummins College of Engineering for Women) Women-only college, strong in CS & ECE, good ROI
PCCOE (Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering) Decent placements, good industry exposure
DY Patil College of Engineering Popular private college, good infra, moderate placements
AISSMS College of Engineering NAAC A+ accredited, decent placement, central location
IIIT Pune Government-backed, strong in CS & ECE, high ROI
IIIT (International Institute of Information Technology) Focused on IT & CS, good ROI
If you're targeting Computer Science or IT, PICT, IIIT Pune, and Cummins are excellent.
For ROI, GCOEARA (Govt. College of Engineering & Research, Avasari) is unbeatable with low fees and decent placements.
If you're looking for campus life + academics, MIT-WPU and VIT still lead, but AIT and PCCOE offer good balance
Hello
yes, do not need to e worry because with your SC rank (~7,000), you should be able to secure a free (government quota) seat at VIT-AP Amaravati, particularly in CSE or other core engineering branches.
Dear aspirant,
Well, for placements, a B.Tech in IT/CSE from VIT Chennai is often considered a better option for placements than a B.Tech in Chemical Engineering from Thapar. While Thapar has a good reputation, VIT Chennai's strong placement record in IT/CSE, especially with higher packages, often makes it a more better choice for students pursuing these fields.
Thank you.
Dear Aspirant,
With a VITMEE rank of 1598, you have a very strong chance of getting admission into the M.Tech Biotechnology program at VIT, particularly at the Vellore campus. In previous years, the closing rank for this program has gone as high as 20,000, which places your rank well within the safe range. VIT does give some preference to GATE-qualified candidates, but even without a GATE score, your VITMEE rank alone is good enough for Biotechnology. Many candidates with ranks even higher than yours have secured admission in this program. As long as you meet the basic eligibility criteria, such as having the required percentage in your undergraduate degree and submitting the necessary documents during counselling, your chances are excellent. Make sure to participate in the counselling process, select Biotechnology as your top choice, and stay updated on important dates. Overall, your chances of admission are very promising.
Best of Luck
The infrastructure of our college is excellent with a big campus for the students to explore. Hostel facilities and canteen is really good but the food should be more hygienically made with care. It also has well designed gyms, sports area, libraries and laboratories.
Academic buildings are good, classrooms are large to accomodate lots of students, labs are ac and well equipped. Hostel facilities are good ranging from 1-6 bed ac/non-ac rooms with wifi service. Mess food is decent with good variety. Laundry and transport services are available on campus. Sports facilities, gym, library, etc are available.
VIT Vellore’s M.Tech Biotech has awesome infrastructure. Labs got latest equipment like PCR, bioreactors, makes practicals smooth. Library huge, tons of books, fast wifi. AC classrooms with smart boards. Hostels clean, but summer water shortage. Mess food okay, sports ground big.
