By your JEE Mains scores you might get lower tier NIT's with non core branches, if comfortable go for NIT based on allotment else go for VIT.

College Infrastructure

Vellore Institute of Technology has a really nice infrastructure with clean classrooms, labs, library and hostels. Wi-Fi is only available for 20 hours as it gets switched off around midnight. Campus is big and nice, but it can get crowded. Hostels are very hygienic as they get cleaned daily.
